yeah, definitely not. And Iāve decided to not take it in for this. Just sucks that I pay 60k for a car, and then baby the heck out of it to preserve it for the long term. But always something š¤·āāļø
No worries! Itās the reason for the post. I canāt figure what, if not extended sun/heat, would cause this? š¤·āāļø
Thatās why when it happened to my garage queen, I was flabbergasted. My sierra 1500 sits in the sun day in and day outā¦no dash pimples in site
Hey Bruce, good morning, yes, actually located in Miami. However, Iām not sure what could have caused this since the car has been in the sun maybe 5 hours total for a few cars and coffee events. But I rarely use the car during the day much. And it lives in a garage, thatās why I was so confused...
I suppose Iāll chuck that turtle wax bottle and invest in
Yep thatās it.
Yeah unless it worsens Iām gonna just apply some leather conditioner to it and if that helps, Iāll update here.
Definitely appreciate everyoneās input, and will try the conditioner route.
Is the general consensus to apply the conditioner and blow it with a warm air from blow dryer? Is it OK to use the pictured protectant spray or a leather conditioner instead?
I hear you, Iām on the fence because I donāt want to drop the car off and have them tinker around with it for an indefinite amount of time, since itās probably a unique issue. I also donāt want them replacing the dashboard and putting a bunch of remarks on my car history (carfax). š¤·āāļøš¤·āāļø
So I am genuinely perplexed, and not sure to whether blow head gasket or if Iām overreacting here. I have a 2023, which I purchased in September 2023 preview and have garage kept since with 2100 miles as of today. I literally baby the S@&$ out of this car, it gets little to no sun as I generally...
Hey Ryan well said! Agree with you.
I (my wife) decided to stick with the OEM+ look, Iām going with the birds nest option even though many donāt seem to like it.
probably going for these in the link since theyāre about 10 lbs lighter per wheel. And I think it accomplishes performance (more...
Looks awesome! Thatās perfect. Do you feel the handling or drive is hindered by running the 305 on a 10ā wheel? Iāve heard others complain that you give up other qualities by going too wide.
I have to say, I know I started this thread about best Mach 1 wheels, and Iām still planning to replace them primarily because aftermarket are lighter.
But these OE wheels get a bad rap, they donāt look too too bad, I will miss the classic look
Amazing to have this clarified! We should sell this information to Ford lol
so thatās where they get that number fromā¦
planning on adding the SVE MHP1 (replica) wheels with 325/30 & 285/35 (19ā) soon so will see where weāre sitting then.š
