  1. What tool brand do you use?

I've used Craftsman for years with no issues. Few times I did need the warranty, no issues. Tools replaced on site with no questions. Power tools are Kobalt. Have only had them for three years, but zero issues so far. Compressor is also Craftsman, air tools are IR.
  2. Plasti Dip black accented with red (chin, grill and sides)

Just my opinion, but as much of a genius as George Barris is, the Mustang is not the batmobile... But it's your car!!
  3. Oil 5-20 vs. 5-30

Manual says 5-20 for GT, 5-30 for EB, and 5-20 for V6
  4. Hidden Features in the 2015 Mustang

OK, this happened to me today, and I found it interesting... It was at dusk, and I keep my headlights set to auto. They were on when I pulled into a business for a quick stop. When I came out, got in, turned on car and put it into reverse. The "something behind the car" chime started going...
  5. 2015 Mustang Bad Transmission and Paint at 244 miles. Can Ford Please help me??

Either someone at the dealership, or the body shop!! I'm not overly familiar with the internals of the six speed manual, but it sounds like synchronizer rings are crushed.
  6. Forced Induction for the daily driver.

I can tell you some of my experience with FI just to maybe help a little: 1) I have a TS blown '03 that has 100K on it and has not had a rebuild. It has seen many trips down the 1/4 mile and is a daily driver. Granted, older 2V 4.6 making 412rwhp on an ultra-conservative 11.0:1 A/F ratio...
  7. Rear window not level with roof on both sides

I'm not thinking about breaking the seal on there. I have a bad feeling it would make things worse...much worse.
  8. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

LOL. Yep, gorgeous day here! Took her out for a spin, 0.83G lateral type of spin!!:D
  9. Aftermarket puddle lights

Put these on the SuperCrew. Not quite as crisp as the 'stangs, but that may also be partly because of the distance from the ground....LOL. Hardest part was convincing myself it was OK to holesaw the doors...
  10. Why is this car wearing this lower grill?

So, here's a theory that just popped into my head: All cars mentioned are from cold regions. Some even have block heaters. Has anyone else ever noticed when OTR trucks use various methods of blocking portions of the grill to maintain more heat in the engine bay? Just wondering if this is...
  11. Car wash surprise!!

I use a touch less three, sometimes four times a week and have not seen any leaks. Would definitely get it checked.
  12. Exhaust hanging low

Not to mention the roads in and around the NE and DC SUCK!! Seriously, try to get it tightened up before then!
  13. Exhaust hanging low

I would advise against a road trip of that length before getting it fixed! If it is loose, there is the possibility/probability that it could drop further and end up hitting the road surface... Could end up doing a lot more damage.
  14. Quarter Window Louvers?

Haven't found any either, and one company sold me louvers for a '14 that they clearly had advertised as for '15.... Watch out for those!
  15. OMG! This was just on Yahoo...it's HORRIBLE!

    That's been done, many times:
  16. Best $7 spent... Coil covers painted red

OK, cleaned with Klean-Strip Auto Prep: http://carkart.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=2147074507&gclid=CJXK7rOlzMMCFQckgQodzoQAGw Light coat of gray, non-building, non-etching, auto plastic primer, Dupli-Color DPP107...
  17. Can anyone confirm the AUTO GT transmission upshifts in sport mode automatically?

In spot mode on the toggle, it will shift on its own. In sport mode on toggle plus select shift, it will shift on its own, unless you touch a paddle first. In that case, it will redline and not shift until you tap a paddle. At least that is what mine does. Toggle is the metal switch located...
  18. Wierd bump under Drivers mats

Are you talking about the mount to hold the mat in place? That is exactly where it is located.
