Have NEVER seen any evidence to suggest these claims hold any validity.

Looks good. While I was waiting for my car to get here, I bought a spare set of coil covers and, being something of a purest, painted them Ford Corporate Blue, like they used on the engines in yesteryear. Now that the car is here, I can finally see what they look like on the car.

J/K. That first pic looks amazing, but the color cannot be reproduced in sunlight. Took a few shots of mine today with Canon 60D in sunlight, but they look nothing like that.
I know that an aftermarket system can be installed on manuals and wired to the neutral safety switch for manuals. Not sure why the factory doesn't do this, but would assume it is still a liability issue.
