I like to consider myself a ford guy. I love cars, as most of you all do. But a ford has always been my goto vehicle. Ive had various F150s since about 1995. Best truck on the road IMO.
a little background? I commute about 26 miles one way to work, i work at a hospital, non medical, in the...
Up until this spring, I had an 2017 ecoboost pp coupe, that i traded for a 2022 gt vert. I love the car! Love the 8 cylinder rumble… love the power, love those summertime topless days and nights… but its coming up on December, my car is put away for the winter already… where my ecoboost woulda...
And be careful about the horse hair brush you use. I use ragg topp cleaners but last time the soft brush i used left hundreds of hairs behind….
I ended up getting a decent quality lint brush and cleaned most of them off. I still use the lint brush from time to time to pick off the light stuff.
Sadly no bubble for the GT, as my daily driver i have to “accept” it’ll get a little dinged up.
The bubble has a little fan that runs and keeps it inflated, im guessing, like q small bouncy house. i have not done it but have seen videos of people tossing a 10 lb weight onto the thing and it...
Kind of a sad day yesterday. Everything fun has been put up for winter. Here in southern maine, we have had snow and freezing rain a few times, and theyve put down salt and sand… last year, i got until mid december, not so this season…
“All things fun” have been covered, trickled and or...
My question was obviously in sarcasm, sad that the person would purposely roll themselves and any car into the ocean, or if it was accidental thats even worse… glad the lobsterman was so quick to respond and save the guy… oh and kind of ironic, i garaged mine yesterday to keep it free of the...
If salt water is bad for Ceramic coating, this one will need to be redone….
saw this on the news, the car slowly rolled into the water, a brave maine lobsterman donned dive gear, jumped in and saved the driver. No more details as yet regarding why the person - who gladly, is supposed to be ok...
Yeah kinda sucks, were getting snow in Me. Today. Only an inch or two, and our town already laid down salt and sand….
im not ready to pull my GT off the road for the season, nut my C8 is officially away for the year. With my GT i plan to coat the bottom with 6 cans of amsoil anti corrosion...
2022 gt, 5 months old around 4700 miles. I noticed this dent or more like, a ding on the top of my trunk.
It just happened recently, we have tall oaks that will sometimes drop acorns - thats the only think im thinking… but i am pretty cautious of staying away from parking under a tall oak. a...
Thanks DFB,
Just to clarify my initial post, the detailer added the diluted dark fury AFTER they did the decontamination, not as the decontaminator…
they used the dark fury as a quick way to get rid of bugs and stuff. I was impressed how quick it did the job,
But, what you said makes...
So i stopped by the detailing shop that ceramic coated my car a few years ago, for a decontamination wash… i guess its just a sprayed on alkaline that sits on it for a while then rinsed and a regular wash…
after they rinsed off the decontamination stuff, they sprayed this “dark fury” all over...
Id read all the time as a kid, as an adult reading a book gives me headaches… web and tablet reading does not bother me….
Now i do audible books when on long rides - except not really when im in my mustang… that exhaust sounds better with music in the background…
Its been 3 months since i got my leftover 2022 GT vert, 3500 miles and i must admit, Im still loving this vehicle. I traded in a 2017 ecoboost PP as my DD for the GT, the technological improvements are great… adaptive cruise - great, auto high beams - awesome, lane departure warnings - meh...
I hear ya DF, come early spring after myself and my fun cars have been cooped up all winter, i actually long for a chance to detail my cars… nothing better on an early morning, or a late summer night than detailing IMO.
i have - and i bet lots of you guys have - had to kick on the lights as it...
