Love the look of the quad tips!!!
I got jedi mind tricked into a new set up yesterday at my local shop.
60 series flowmaster mufflers, resonator delete with Y pipe.
I'll try and get some video here as soon as it's done. I'm hoping it turns out well.
Exactly this. Thought I'd stop with a tune and intake. I'm now about to install said intake, and an intercooler, and putting together a custom exhaust with upgraded downpipe.
Then I'm done I swear.
I need to stop coming to this forum lol. I said I was gonna stay pretty much stock besides a tune intake and drop in filter. Now I've got an appointment for a new intercooler and intake install...and now I just went to my local exhaust shop yesterday and ordered the 12288 with straights...
I gave up on ford... I got the cobb AP and a tune+ . I'm not racing my car so I'm not concerned anymore about blowing anything up.
And everyone is right, the tune truly wakes this car up and makes it insanely fun to drive.
I've been running the stage 1 OTS cobb tune for about 3 weeks now and I love it. Really wakes the car up. I have the "OTS" Adam tune but haven't loaded it up yet.
When I first bought the car I thought of going with sct but spoke with some mustang owners who guided me into the direction of...
Cool. I'm hoping to get to the local shop this weekend and see what my out of pocket would be. I have the MAP intercooler and intake sitting in boxes just waiting for an exhaust so I can put everything on together at the same time.
So would doing the resonator delete and replacing it with the single in dual out muffler help with the drone?
I am kicking around the idea of using the 12288 muffler as previously posted and then going straight back from there on out.
Running the OTS stage 1 with ngk plugs and a k & n drop in.
Noticed today that when my car is hitting the 1.25 -1.50 rpm the air/fuel ratio climbs to 20 and stays there until I hit 1000 rpm or below, or about 1500. Once out of the 1.25-1.50 range the levels are fine and at the normal 14 or...
You can. I've been told though the OTS tunes are calibrated using only cobb products, that it can be used with other brands. Just may or may not perform as stated by cobb with their numbers. I actually asked this question on Cobbs site and that's what I was told.
I thought about doing this as well. Y pipe and two thrush welded mufflers with tips all for I think $150 shipped. But I'm gonna stay with the stock set up. I don't need the car to be overly loud. And there's not much to gain performance wise.
So I just mapped with stage 1 93 tune yesterday and after driving for about an hour or so I got
P0301 cylinder 1 misfire detected
Is this something I should be concerned about?
I live in harrisburg. My Google maps is saying I'm roughly 1.5 hrs away...if we could figure out a way to meet halfway I'd be very very very very interested in these. Could have the money to you this week, cash.
Love your set up and vision on this. My ecoboost fastback is pretty much in the same vein. Unlike many on here I am not tuning my cae, but I am adding an intercooler right now just in case I do in the future change my mind.
