Black ring now satin/matte

This is hilarious brother , me too …when I looked at the pictures thought the exact same thing today and removed it and painted it satin black. Now it matches with steering wheel. I’ll get some pics ..

Well yea, my car is completely blacked out in engine and appearance … then there was the chrome city interior ruining my thang …I tried …put the carbon fiber overlays did some wrapping and the chrome is all basically gone … but I am just not sure. I wish somebody did these overlays in a satin...

Did the best I could to kill all chrome in the interior lol

Thanks everyone! I just ordered the lower brackets from redline to improve the FP crap lower bracket like you guys suggested!

I could forgive all the ugly if it was FASTER then the 2018-2021 A10 PP1 but it’s got everything I don’t want …slower, uglier and costs more…That’s imop not even a consideration.

So the redline lower bracket is interchangeable with the ford set up?

Mine feel solid but I notice that the bottom bracket is not perfectly straight it is slightly at an angle on both sides seems firm but it bothers me that when tightened to 20 ft/lb like recommended they still twist to a bit of an angle … shit maybe that’s normal ? Are yours slightly at an angle...

The Roush struts … any problems installing ? The CJPony install video made it look like it was a bit of a PITA with undoing both bolts on a side, they show tape measuring etc to realine hood etc

So I installed the Ford Performance ones today but that lower bracket with the bendable weak sauce bottom nut and copper washer seem weak sauce maybe it will hold up but I looked around and some are complaining too … so steeda and redlines lower bolt on seems much more beefy .. comments and...

Bringing this thread up from the dead. installed these today on a 2020 GT. You drill a 1 inch hole in the battery cover each time you wanna work on the battery I guess you can swing it out of the way but then it’s this bulky cover in the way or you have to pop the lower hood strut? Havent done...
