Donāt think Iāve posted on this particular thread about the SP2ās I picked up few weeks ago. Staggered with Nittos. I was apprehensive about the tires but it was so much easier to get wheel/tire pkg. so far tires are fine and look great. Upgraded to performance front breaks last week.
Itās only been a day but canāt tell much. I think thatās the consensus for most who have upgraded. They can mainly tell the difference on the track. But the calipers look really nice behind the front wheels. It wasnāt a necessity but Iām happy with it.
Did the front brake caliper, rotor and line swap last night. Will add splash shields when they come in. Noticed I could hear the pads rubbing on the rotors during my slow test drive. I was told thatās normal for new pads to get adjusted. Didnāt see any specific rubbed area in the rotors after...
Im glad the whole kit comes with the correct shields. It does show them on LMR's listing. I bought "new" takeoffs of the loaded calibers and rotors from shelby america on ebay. It didnt come with the shields. It did come with brake cables but i came to find out they do not fit with my GT brake...
*Update on the splash shieldsā¦I placed an order with Lakeland Ford 1/26 and much to my surprise they sent me the splash shields I already had. Apparently they decided I ordered the wrong ones because the high performance brakes didnāt match my vin. If you order these while upgrading your brakes...
I donāt know if the item numbers on this is the part number but think this is what you're asking about.

No offense taken and youre right. More for appearance than anything else. Im putting on some pp2 wheels and it really shows off the rotors and calipers. Im aware there are some other options like caliper covers (not for me), painting or vinyl wrapping. I'd like to keep the look OEM. Tho not...
Im curious about this too. Im looking to upgrade my base GT front breaks to the ford performance kit. Ive watched videos and seems straight forward. The bleeding part is kinda vague. Guess you gotta do it to fully understand how it should "feel'. Mainly Im wondering if the rear brakes need to be...
Just checked and its actually $1099. If you can find them. Most are out of stock. I went with the JL 500/1 amp for $289 and the JL 4g wiring kit for $180. I coulda went with another decent wiring kit for cheaper.

For me, having to buy all the wiring and tools plus equipment made it very expensive. Also getting a stealthbox instead of a traditional box added $500+. I was 'lucky" to find a display model for $779 instead of $1199 brand new. But i also didnt have to sacrifice a lot of trunk space. I can't...
Working fine. Im getting use to the lower bass. It tried doing the rear seat spacers to provide gap for bass but couldnāt get the very last bolt off the latch. Ended up stripping it. Just wasnāt meant to be lol
