It's probably not that 4 cylinder engines will be mandated, but that the existing CAFE regulations may require manufacturers to do away with the 6/8 cylinder guzzlers in favor of 4 cylinders.

If Ford revoked the LE allocation from the dealer, then how can you blame the dealer?

There was a dealer in Seattle that sold one for $20k over and was offering me another allocation that they purchased for the same price. Glad I went elsewhere...
