  1. Threw a main bearing @2300miles

F'ing beautiful track though. Wish I could have gotten at least the day in, of the two I bought. There went $1000...I ain't bitching, pay to play...Had a bit of fun.
  2. Threw a main bearing @2300miles

Just think it was an anomaly. The future will tell.
  3. Threw a main bearing @2300miles

Warranty. I would assume, but I told the dealership it was most likely oil pump related. Took two weeks to determine, according to them, thrown main bearing. Perhaps he left that out, or it was over their heads. I was thinking about building a spare engine too. Sounds like fun.
  4. Threw a main bearing @2300miles

It was like barely sticking it in a hot chick and then it ends abruptly...Didn't get to 6/10ths.
  5. Threw a main bearing @2300miles

Saw nothing in the annals, so thought documentation was in order.
  6. Threw a main bearing @2300miles

Barely flogged her. On COTA, 2nd session out in the rain, feeling like a ***** because it is slippery and I don't know the track. Hear something fucking up in the engine, looked at gauges and oil temp was stable, but ZERO oil pressure. Turned off safely at the wide run off of T18? Towed off...
  7. If you throw on R suspension parts on a standard 350, will it feel like a R?

Magic sauce would be in either the engine or chassis. I bought the car for the engine, nothing more. Everything else was negotiable (make the magic happen yourself)...that said, i popped my non-modified engine at 2300 miles, so now even the engine is an arguable point.
  8. Ford guy Chevy guy or car guy?

Best of the breed in my price range, don't care what the breed.
  9. Choosing a color...

No brainer: Black on magnetic I got an AG with stripes/black roof, which is pretty sweet.
  10. Shaker Bass speakers in trunk

This guy does a tutorial on changing out those subs and installing an amp. [ame]
  11. COTA Feb 2018 (3 days)

2300 miles, first track days I could find locally, so like 35 minutes of track. 2017...The oil pump is not well thought, especially given the failure destroys the engine. Some never experience it, others do.
  12. COTA Feb 2018 (3 days)

It was yesterday. Wet conditions, second session out. Wasn't even going at 50%. Another GT350 guy said the exact same thing happened to him. Oil pressure went zero, pulled off track so I wouldn't leave 10 quarts for all to enjoy.
  13. COTA Feb 2018 (3 days)

I was there. Didn't even have 2 sessions in and the oil pump failed. Towed to dealership...Otherwise, sick track. Great folks. GT350 guys were very helpful.
  14. Who make the best billet oil pump and crankshaft gears?

2300, mostly driving around town with maybe 10% hard charging. Nowhere close to truly testing the engine in any way.
  15. Who make the best billet oil pump and crankshaft gears?

Happened to me yesterday. Grenaded engine...Lost no oil, oil pressure went to zero.
  16. 2 Different GT350s w/ Same Exact Issue

I have that tweeter rattle, only driver's side. Annoying AF.
  17. Who's got at GT350 with R wheels?

If there was an AG R at or below MSRP, I would have gotten one. My ego clearly isn't as tied up in my car as yours, but, hey, I suppose I don't fit the stereotype of the "Mustang douche." I can give a crap about such juvenile things. Every mod I do will surpass performance of the R. I do enjoy...
  18. COTA Feb 2018 (3 days)

I pulled the trigger yesterday. Email him your desired days. He prefers to sell the 3 day package, but is amenable to 1-2 day buy-ins. Give him a heads up on your track experience level so he can check if he has opening. It is either intermediate or advanced. There seems to be a rather high...
  19. Who's got at GT350 with R wheels?

I haven't done a survey. Great weight saving, assuredly. Most who drive the R will never see it's limits, ever. For those who do, great investment, no doubt (if you don't mind dealer sodomy for the luxury). For those that don't, and want the car for the investment, the CF wheels are merely a...
  20. Who's got at GT350 with R wheels?

One of the central reasons I didn't get the R was the rims. People are afraid to use them on the street, or the track, and for valid reason...If you are rich, then no biggy...If you are not, then you are going to spend lots of money every time you fuck one up...Nope. I'll save the money, not get...
