Hi Gang,
This summer I went ahead and did the stage 2 vmp kit with 79mm pulley. Car made incredible power...current tune is right near 680RWHP and 530RWTQ.
I've done about 8000 miles on this kit. Zero problems, nothing has broke. I don't track it, street driving only. I'm on stock half...
No clue how you got those miles out of the PZERO's! My first rear tires were shot with 5500 miles on them! Then replaced again at 12K and replaced again at 20K. Shot again at 27K and replaced with NT05R which lasted only 3k! lol. I'm running MPSS on back now...
My front tires lasted until...
Get a tune from Lund or vmp and fix it. The tvs blower is a pure animal once tuned properly. This is why I went with the vmp version of the tvs though. Better internals and elbow on the blower which gives 30-50rwhp over the roush tvs.
really? who in there right mind would even CONSIDER dealing with them after the things they have done to members on this forum? How did they get the money to even get that ad printed?
well, some of us, myself included tossed on a VMP stage 2 kit with that "extra" money. Anyone who has driven a boosted coyote will tell you that it's hard to read a digital dash when you got that kind of power and my hands are pretty sweaty whenever I floor the car and get into boost, so no...
i'm sure this has been discussed here, but i'm hearing that the 2018 GT WILL NOT be good for any type of boosted set up...can anyone chime in why that is? higher compression, DI??
"With the RST you would probably be fine, but if you stay with a RXT a mt82 will break. Built or not it doesn't matter."
directly from Calimer transmissions...
keep this in mind when you buy your clutch.
Installed this fluid yesterday...the hype is TRUE...dramatically improves the shifting on the car...notchiness is now gone and feels much smoother everywhere in the gearbox.
Incredible difference. I'm hoping this adds a little security to my trans holding up awhile with my boosted set up as...
If your pedal is to the floor it's most likely the clutch line...maybe it's pinched or maybe the fluid is bad...you can have that looked at OR get a braided clutch line which completely eliminates the clutch pedal to the floor issue...FYI i'm on the stock clutch and stock clutch line with 32k...
Having owned cars from all makers (I had a C6Z before my 16GTPP) I will chime in on what makes ME buy the mustang over the Camaro. First off does anyone else find it annoying that chevy slaps the same engine in SOOO many different cars?
The Camaro shares the vette engine, and the ZL1 shares...
Hey gang. Getting ready to change trans fluid on my 2016 mt82.
What is everyone having best luck with? Royal purple keeps coming up but has anyone used motul? If so what weight is best and how many quarts do I need?
FYI my trans has been flawless. Feels great now but I'm at 32000...
