Hey guys,
I intalled a GT throttle body and a new 3.5inch diameter aluminum intake pipe that goes from the air box to the throttle body. My IAT have been about 10 degrees above normal ever since, which I did not think was an issue. Fast forward to the last three days, all over 90 degrees...
I've been looking for OEM Base GT brake pads front and back online and can't seem to find the right ones. Does anyone know where would be a good place to get them?
Mine fell off WHILE I was driving and I didnt notice until I got home and looked under the car...I would just keep it off, it seems so poorly mounted that its borderline dangerous.
You can try the GT throttle body mod to get more air in, also could get a tune and tune for 93 octane. There are quite a few things you could do but those would be my first two. Maybe get a resonator delete as well.
Now THAT is odd, I'm interested so let me look at these two intakes quickly.
*edit* I just checked both intakes out and I don't see why one would need a change and one wouldn't? They both allow more air into the engine so unless the airaid is a lot less restrictive than the AEM, one would think...
Tunes arnt specific to certain air intakes, a tune on an AEM air intake will likely be very similar to a tune on a K&N intake. You can use a tune with this intake but you need to get the tune from a third party like MPT or BAMA. There are intake companies and there are tuning companies and...
I have the MMD GT350 style front splitter and the fitment was way off. There are large gaps between the sides of the belly pan and the lip since it doesn't line up with the stock holes. Will this chin spoiler fit like OEM? If not, what type of fitment quirks do you foresee? Thank you!
DO NOT FORCE IT...I had the same issue and forced it in and ended up having to buy a tap and dy kit to clean up the threads, huge PITA. I would keep trying until it just goes in how it should
