my car was already a PP with the brembos.
the hardest part is the rear calipers, getting them apart and putting them together. it requires a few extra tools and some creativity. the rear arm is press fit and splined so you need a puller. i used a pulley puller. then on the inside there is a c...
I am not sure. by the looks of it the base, EB, and gt all use the same spindle which would mean it basically is a bolt on deal, you would just need rotors. (thats the just the front) the rears i think are the same but I'm not positive.... do not quote me on any of this, I'm just going off of...
selling the brakes off of my car.. i purchased a extra set so i could have them coated while having less down time for the car. these brakes have 2k miles on them with no issues.
2 front calipers
2 rear calipers
2 rear brackets.
buy these so you can have a extra set coated while you can...
well got them mounted today. very happy with how they came out. wasn't to bad i just did it on the hottest/most humid day... got some storms rolling thru so ill get pictures tomorrow.
this swap is definitely not for amateur's, its very tedious and you need to have patients. its most definitely...
Those definitely aren't them the ones you listed are them but they are just listed under a different part number, the list price is the same as the ones I got.
The part number you have listed is different then the one I have but they may be the same. I'll have to double check. Year they are cheap for 6p calipers lol that's why I bought an extra set. The rears are like $100 or so each and the brackets I can't remember but like $40 each, I'll have to...
It's just a high temp vinyl sticker. Stock the brakes have them painted on but a sticker is just fine there are a ton of places that offer them. I'll have to look at my receipts and get the part numbers when I get home from work.
I'll have to get the pricing when I get home, I'll give list...
I'd do it but keep in mind it's not cheap up front but once you sell the calipers you take off its not bad. The coating isn't expensive but there is also quite a bit of work to get them done, I probably have 3-4 hrs into them in dessasembly and assembly so I'd have to make up for that. the...
I did everything except the coating. Wasn't to bad, the rears are the hardest part.
I had a local place coat them called a1 coating. They did a great job, all the threads were free of debris along with where the seals sit.
i bought an extra set from the dealer and had them powder coated separate so there would be less down time with the car... hope to get them mounted some time next week when i have a day off...
yes i will be selling the extra set i take off the car, so if anyone is interested feel free to pm me...
all depends on the dealer. i have 2 very close to me that offer loaners. i do not take one if the mustang is getting work done but if my DD taurus SHO does then i do get the optional loaner. it cost nothing but filling the tank with gas, usually only a ford fiesta or a focus but still brings me...
