Forgot to say ... have you called a Ford dealership to see if they show it when they lookup your VIN?

I just put my VIN in on the NHTSA website and it doesn't show the brake pedal pad recall for my Mustang, but I did get a letter in the mail about it (just looked at it). So it seems there's some disconnect going on with this particular recall. And I didn't have the brake pedal pad recall done...

I think initially, Ford only said cars in hot humid places were effected, but I think they changed the recall to cover all cars regardless of where they were located.

It's high temperature nylon. Lots of oil filters use a similar center core.
