I don’t know how Roush tune is designed for cat protection if it’s there anytime under boost. I can say that as soon I go wot afr peg out 10.0 running fat as hell. Maybe they tuned it that way to save cats I don’t know.
Yeah with the 3.15 gears it cut out at 150 not 155. I’m in communication with the dealer and Roush with this to try and get more info. Roush wanted it done in 7th cf sae and smoothing 5.
They also wanted current weather conditions of run and the dyno log file sent to them.
Also this was on good...
I hope your right mine is getting put on and was told yesterday Roush pulled the tune and I wouldn’t be able to take the car. They told me Roush said this morning best case Friday afternoon worst case. Was told the tune was causing a check engine light but no drivability concerns.
Who did you...
From all my research is if you want a supercharger and a warranty to the Roush is the best option for that. Like everyone else has said already if you want to be the fastest this kit is not for you. Good drivability, good warranty, and decent power is what you get with the Roush.
There is no doubt the intercooler size is smaller than the other kits. After my researching for someone that has to have a warranty(my highest priority on a new car) I will be choosing the Roush kit. I know the whipple stage 1 is better but, I’m going with the Roush.
From the videos I seen they said it just produces to much heat. They don’t recommend the Roush kit at all. Unless you want the warranty backed by Roush/Ford.
When was the last time you got your Roush tune updated. There is a chance you could get a update and get a bit more power depending on how old your cal is.
Lund will not tune the Roush kits for the 18+ cars. They have said this a number of times. Vmp, palm beach Dyno, and Wengerd tuning are the places I know will tune these cars just talked with all of them this week. If your only willing to do the tune you make get close to the 650 mark. Hope this...
