I just got one for $30. Very very happy with it, quality is great and its a very heavy piece.

the MMD prepainted is spot on...the only downside and someone mentioned this, you have to be very careful not to over tighten the bolts as dimples appear on the front side. I was very careful and you cant tell unless its the right angle or you are looking hard enough. Funny thing is, a lot of...
replied to your PM...it is not a direct replacement. There are no mounting points for the reverse camera on the panel nor any mounting points for the lower bolts.
I did just watch the video and see what you are saying it does appear they have it as a direct replacement...I dunno I can look...
my car does it as well both when it was in stock form and now lund tuned. Car hesitates quite a bit when cold but once warm all is good and all goes away. I guess she likes to be wined and dined before you take her home and she really opens up.
its did not match up well for me, especially around the camera area. Maybe I had a "bad one" but it was not acceptable to me. Sucked it up and am buying the MMD pre painted replacement.
Installed...big let down. Didnt even bother taking pictures, no one would find it acceptable. The plastic was so warped around the camera it wouldnt even sit flush so there was a massive gap, at least a 1/4". Maybe I got a bad one but id look elsewhere
not the feeling for sure. I can take a video but the hesitation feels like drivetrain slop or fuel cut, cause it bogs and then slight delay and power comes on.
So lund said you cant adjuat the tire rev on a 2015. Loaded the stock tune back to ight and the heaitation seems to be there just not near the same level.
Did a couple other searches and seen older s197s had the problem often and it was everything from dirty MAF sensor to a bu ch of people...
Good point, could do that. guess that would help narrow in on where the issue lies although I always heard you never want to run these cars on stock tune with headers...not sure if anyone could confirm.
I used to drive in sport mode but now with the tune its far too sensitive for me on the street so I started driving in normal mode. I did switch modes though to see if it was still present and it was so the modes did not impact it.
definitely not present before. Had the car on the track (road course) in stock form and had plenty of instances where I would have noticed the hesitation.
Well not sure. I got it all done at the same time so the only thing i can compare it to is stock with pp wheels. Long tubes, wheels and tune were all done together
So recently i noticed if im cruising along and put my foot to floor the car hesitates, almost feels like a quick downshift in an auto car (mine is a 6 speed) then power comes on. The hesitation comes right when I floor it and then all is good to redline. Does it in every gear no matter the rpms...
