Air conditioners actually dehumidify the interior air. That is why you will see a puddle of water under the car if it sits with the AC running. That is the water that was removed.
Having been in Georgia more than once I can vouch for the humidity year round. Leave the AC running, but up to you.
Yeah, but if you put it on the outside you don't have to constantly answer "whatcha got under the hood?"

As stated before the 6-8 weeks is the standard lie. Everyone is told that. Research has probably shown that if you tell someone more they won't order and if you tell them less they will get more upset when it turns out to be 4 months.
There is no interest in the state supporting aftermarket exhausts.
