Im in the process today of ordering one through Ourisman decided to give it a try as my other dealer isnt getting anything done. They said the order bank is still open

I do know as of a few years ago the ford trucks were running plastic gears in them so i wonder if thats the case on the mach 1 ? does anyone know?

From what i understand you dont have to do it , But Brenspeed works on these cars every day, so if hes telling me its a good idea im going to get it done then plus he is giving me a break on labor if its all done at the same time

The quote i got on mine is about 15k with billet timing gears and rear cylinder head cooling mod, along with dyno tuned thats for everything through brenspeed

Got my apology letter last night almost 11pm Ford promises to keep me posted every 45 days ,i guess its leading up to telling me its canceled

Yea chuck they never informed me of this, i never knew it was like this till i joined this forum at that time was when i felt i probably made a mistake, good thing that came from it was i saved enough to pay cash for the car im sure it will come in handy in the future

So if you want to wait longer thats on you, My dealer never informed me of this before i ordered he told me 4 months id have my car, well it never happened i have 10 old hot rods il just stick with them. maybe if you wait another 6 months you might see yours

My order was 6 days after yours but no email for me im about ready to buy something else good luck with yours

Last i knew the roush wont work on Mach 1 have to use the whipple i was told the motor sits to high in the chassis for the roush to work

My dealer told me that Ford broke the contract with the drivers when they had the covid shut down and now its alot harder to get them shipped then before, i dont know if its true just what the dealer said

Im almost sure the resale value will be far greater for the cars with hp package than the ones without so keep on kidding yourself to think it wont be. i dont plan on ever tracking my car but i knew not to get one with out the hp. that will be the difference when the money is counted
