Thanks guys. I'm going parallel...only because I already have the parts to make it work. It will be overkill for my goals of 7-800hp but at least I'll have piece of mind. Now my only concern is heat due to running dual pumps.
Hi Guys,
I need some feedback on how to proceed. I currently have a wastegated Paxton blower running 7 lbs on 91. I purchased a Fore L1 Dual Pump system (8/8) with dual Walbro 465s so I can go E85 - not yet installed. Thanks beefcake!
I also have in my possession, the Y block, Fore fuel...
Just a follow-up to this... for what its worth. I ended up changing out the RF ABS sensor, re-torquing my front wheel spacers, filled my coolant up as I had just had my Evap core replaced and it appears it was about a gallon short :( and reprogrammed my TPMS sensors. I still see the codes in...
Hi guys,
I have a Paxton supercharged 2016 Mustang GT. About a month ago, I was just driving into work and my check engine light lit up and the car went into safe mode. After restarting the car, the light went away and drove just fine. There were no DTC codes to pull when I scanned my ECU...
Hi guys,
Install was wrapped up last weekend by my installer along with TSS OPG and CS and ATI damper.
I'm still data logging so no numbers or track times just yet.
Hi guys,
I'm in a big bind. Does anyone know where I can pick up a reservoir tank for the 2015 Paxton kit? I picked up a used kit but unbeknownst to me the tank is for a 2014 so my DD is currently at the shop until I can get one ordered.
Appreciate any feedback.
Thanks!
Thanks for the clarification. That was my initial suspicion. I was thinking that if the OPG was upgraded to handle the additional stress/harmonics, then changing out the stock balancer might not be necessary because even though something like an ATI has tighter tolerances if anything it would...
That's what I'm trying to gage. Every thread or article that I've read refers to the additional harmonic load that the higher power or rpms place on the OPG is related to stock balancer and stock powdered metal OPGs. If the OPG is replaced, that should address the root cause right?
