The quote i got for just the front counting hood and fenders was 1800 which is not too bad and gets all of the critical frontal area.
I have 305's on the front so in front of the rear tires got it pretty bad as well.
Its too late for me i will just do a bra and the repaint it if need be. Its...
Ha Ha I got plenty of that, my car is black like yours so I don't mind the rubber. Its the paint chips I want to prevent if possible.
Its already too late, the worst area is in front of the rear tires, i guess the 305 tires on front throw a lot of small rocks and sand back there.
The good...
I am very interested in this to add to mine. I am not a fan of the open waste gate tubes.
I do HPDE events and some tracks have noise restrictions.
I can't wait to get this thing on the track. no more getting beat down straights at the Glen by the C7Z06!!
This is a great kit and an easy install!!
I put the MPSS on my C6Z06 and they hook pretty well. I may try them on my TT 2016 Mustang. I have NTO1 305 on it now and they won't hook in the first 3 gears. It is hard to get them warmed up this time of year though. It was about 65 degrees when it tried it last.
Has anyone had an issue where the touch screen would not function on the Nguage.
I did a firmware update and after the update loaded I had a touchscreen config window come up asking to reset the touch screen. I followed the on screen instructions but now my touchscreen does not function.
I have mine installed and tuned, i will second that comment. My car is very fast.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd are pretty useless and in 4th you need to go easy or it lights them up. I have NTO1 305 tires so not the best for straight line traction.
Sure is fun, too bad winter is here ☹️
I thought you could not get lower boost psi than the springs you have in the waste gates and that max boost is roughly double spring pressure.
Having said that it does not seem to be an exact science. I have 5.8 lb springs in my gates but get 7.5 max boost without the controllor hooked up...
What are you running for boost pressure? I just got my TT kit installed and at 7.8 psi i can see that there will be traction issues on corner exit.
Sure would hate to brake them loose at the top of the sses at the Glen.
I am thinking of putting in a 4 lb spring. I can still get to 8 psi...
It is louder than I prefer but acceptable. I will reroute back into the exhaust eventually.
I will also be working on heat management. doing it one step at a time. I track this car on road courses so i am expecting to have to address heat issues. I have another hood that I am going to put...
I took my time and changed a few things to suit my liking so it took me a couple of weeks.i travel for work as well. I could install it in a weekend now that i have done one. It is not very complicated. I fabbed my own exhaust connectors as well.
