I had the same issue trying to fit my 18+ AWE touring catback on my 17 base GT. I ended up cutting a little bit of the painted part of the valance (probably will get a new one soon anyway) but good to know I wasnāt the only one. So looks like 18+ exhausts wonāt fit 15-17 unless you do some work...
Looking to pay no more than $6k. I live in Aiken, SC so shipping might need to be required for the seller, willing to drive 4 hours any way. Supercharger must be in good condition and have all parts needed for install. Does not matter which brand of supercharger. Let me know what you have!
I actually ended up going with a completely different exhaust. I found some hooker blackheart 1 7/8ā into 3ā collectors (catless) for a great deal locally and just installed the AWE touring onto the car two days ago. It sounds absolutely amazing. Itās pretty loud of course, and I think it might...
Looking to buy a catback, doesnāt matter the year it is for as long as it is 15+. Looking for Corsa (not extremes), Borla, or AWE in particular, but send me a message if you have another 3ā catback. I basically just something that does not drone. I live in Aiken, SC and am willing to travel a...
Hahaš it took me holding the ratchet and my brother using almost all his force on the end of the fence post to break it loose...we heard a snap and I was like well there goes that nut. Shouldāve gotten a picture of my face there too! Pure horror. There was no way in hell that little old wrench...
Thank you for the advice, I ended up being able to break it free after many extensions/swivels and a 3 foot long fence post that I use to add more torque lol. I ended up breaking the nut and not the stud off but Iāll need to use a bolt in the spot anyways with my headers.
Iām installing my long tubes on jacks and can not get the passenger side top back nut/stud out at all. Iāve tried using every ratchet/socket/swivel/wrench/ratcheting wrench combination that I have. I also tried using an extension and put one side on the nut and the other side I tapped on with a...
Just to update the thread I have the driver side on. Just need to get the passenger side and o2 sensors connected. Unfortunately the oxygen sensor socket I bought broke when trying to take the sensor off and the driverās side sensor was not salvageable after being rounded off. Hopefully new...
Searched for any threads on this and didnāt find any, but Iām installing LTHs over the weekend and I have the driverās side manifold out and went to disconnect the front sensor to reuse on the LTH, I can not get the sensor off of the manifold to save my life. Iāve tried to get a wrench on it but...
Not sure if anyone can help me with this, but in the hooker blackheart install manual, it says that a 24ā front O2 extension and a 12ā front O2 extension are supposed to be used for the install (24ā seems like a really long extension but Iām not really sure). The headers I bought also already...
Well I ended up getting the 1.5 thread pitch. Hope it works lol. I looked on Stage8ās website and it said that early production models has the 1.25 pitch, so I figured with a 2017 it should be 1.5 thread pitch. We shall see.
Want to buy some header bolts but I can not find any concrete information on what thread pitch I need. I hear 1.25 and 1.5, which ones have you guys ran on your 17 GTās? Thanks
