I enjoy everyday driver videos, funny thou I usually agree with the one guy and not the other. Reminds me of how my brother and I look at cars differently.
I would pick of those four: 1) EBM (obviously) 2)WRX 3)Focus ST 4)FRS
Can't believe I'd pick a FWD car over a RWD one, but yeah there...
Well if you like your car torque-less then the FRS is great! My brother had a BRZ, fun at first but it got boring to drive quickly. It doesn't help that I don't live in an area with twisty roads either.
I cross shopped the WRX and EB. I liked the WRX but loved the mustang. I'm sure I would enjoy the WRX more in the snow. But oh well, I'm getting snow tires. I'm not to hasty to take a WRX on from a dig, because that AWD traction and I don't have any with these crap all seasons.
This is what i wanted with the fusion from the start. I had a 2013 1.6 turbo with stick shift. I really liked the car but wanted more power and AWD but not forced to drive an automatic. Since it's an ST it has to be stick!!!
If it wasn't for the EB Mustang I'd probably be driving another EB fusion or a WRX. All were 25k...I think I made the right choice.
Congrats to OP on his new GT!
Granted the magazine times are not the limits of a vehicle nor are the results set in stone but they are published results that can be used as a reference. Just like some ppl got faster 1/4 mile times with their EBs than the magazines. I take the magazine times as what the average driver would...
Just throwing this out there:
Motortrend and Motorweek got 13.5 1/4 times with the 02 camaro ss and curb weight listed as 3323 for the stick and 3380 with the auto.
But I would assume most on the road by now are not stock.
I went from mobil to sunoco back to mobil. I tried sunoco cuz someone recommended it, my car didnt seem to run/sound right. Put mobil back in and my car was happy again.
Hey Will, hope everything works out. I feel pretty lucky with mine so far. Oh the woes of a first year product. My EB isn't going anywhere, I'm biding my time till I can get a cobra.
Haven't heard a bad thing about the Street except some thought it was too quiet and wished they went with the comp instead. Lots of positive remarks on the tone from the exhaust. I was waiting on Cobb to see their offer but they went in a coma apparently. When I still had the stock exhaust I was...
jjsotolongo and lisandra i would go with magnaflow street. I hear they are rather quiet not much over stock except at WOT. And that's why I went with the competition series. And that isn't as loud as I thought it would be either. At least I can hear it at idle now.
The car's a different animal with a tune. I put the stock tune back in for a little bit and it felt like a slug. Switched it back real quick! Hopefully in the Spring I'll have a intercooler and downpipe on the way.
