I've had issues with this dealership keeping my appointments, 3rd time Ive scheduled it and they didn't have me in computer...They took me anyways.
Anyways, I get home and check the receipt. They put in 9.33 quarts of
XO*5w50*QGT..
I thought weight was suppose to be 5w20? Or did...
I checked both today and yesterday, I did not have that rubber burning smell.
I noticed mine the first day after my alignment, but also snowed 2" that night and I drove home through 2 cities to get home and passed 4 cities on way home (Interstate). The smell persisted for 2 following days...
Car is mine, Money is ours. Parts and Labor, $10k is a lot of money.
She said "When you get your Mustang, just leave it stock, don't you dare change it." I replied "Yes dear"
Mods I have:
JLT Oil separator
Steeda CAI (No-Tune)
BMR Springs Sp080
Cradle Lockout CB005
Shiftknob +...
Fortunately, the smell has NOT persisted. I do wonder that first night coming home, if someone used chemicals rather than salt that night in the city I was driving from.
I have BMR performance springs SP080 and cradle lockout.
I can tell a big difference, for the better, especially on the interstate. I still have some short bounce on the rear on certain roads going 30-40mph. I have owned my car almost a year (April 2015), I have not raced or tracked...
Tonight we are looking at snow, so probably Tuesday I'll take it back and see if they can check the front again for any rubbing issues, even if I have to pay a 2nd time, least just for front end i suppose.
From What I seen on forums, nobody else has had rubbing issues with standard tire size...
Hey guys
I finally got my BMR springs SP080 and lockout CB005 installed last weekend. Drove the car for most the week with no issues, got a alignment done thursday (day before yesterday). Last night (Friday night), when I got home, I smell rubber, almost like I did a burnout, but roads were...
Dont know why everyones manual is different from mine, but here is a cut and paste about the summer tires.
Always store your summer tires indoors at
temperatures above 20ºF (-7ºC). The
rubber compounds used in these tires lose
flexibility and may develop surface cracks
in the tread area...
My install is tomorrow, also concerned with this question.
Does the pictures represent both the front and back bump stops on the performance pack or base model? Obviously the front need to be shortened.
Curious if the back does need cut, and the potential side effects of either cutting...
Negative remarks:
Wife - Let drive to work once, about a month ago.
"My god its so bouncy, is this normal, do you need to take it back to the dealer?"
Friend - Drive 2013 Camaro 2SS
"It's not a Camaro..."
Acquaintance - Wannabe professional
"So you went black on black on...
Thanks to David at Steeda, I got my steeda CAI early this week and finished installing about 30 mins ago. Disconnected ground during install. Not gonna lie, it was a pain in the butt to do (3 hours), however both Pops and I are more technically than mechanically inclined.
That said...
Koni will be releasing a set for next year (Q1 2016). Seeing the issues with Viking first set made me uneasy, seeing issues from vendor on top of design issue. I think ill wait myself for Koni.
Most lawyers will not ask for money upfront, but a percentage of the winnings if they are worth their salt. Most fee's I've encountered, are 25% up to 50%. If anything, should be compensated for wear and tear on mileage. However, A lawyer may think its not worth the time.
Calling around...
I have not read any other reply's, just you OP.
That said, had they advertised heavily for the mustang, I would not have bought mine. If you see tons of advertisements, your paying for those when you buy a car, they factor them in. Reviews of owners are much more trustworthy than a bias...
He found a fix.

BMR CB005 Appearantly. I been following him(not creepy way)/ this bouncy issue for some time.
The bouncy issue has bothered me. Ford did a road force balance and called it a day...it was...
