I attempted to negotiate Factory Orders and had no success. One dealer offered invoice and that is the best I could find. Most dealers do not return phone calls on factory order inquiries - even when I stopped by to introduce myself.

I agree - The Alpha platform is world class and in a different class than the s550's, The Camaro has the best M6 of the 3, The LT1 is no joke and pretty easily modded, and I still admire the simplicity of one cam over 4, it's lower center of gravity, and its lighter weight, and low end torque...
I've been wanting to order a GT with PP1 and 647 wheels, but each of the 5 or 6 dealers I've spoken to are clueless and don't get back to me. And that includes big dealers like Galpin - totally unhelpful.

The moment you drive a 2017 GT off the lot you'll be lucky if it only has a $10K depreciation. Ford dealers are willing to let them go for 2500 off - wow -what a deal.
If you want a 17, walk into a dealership the Friday after thanksgiving or December 28th and demand 10K off msrp on a GT.
I thought these motors are SAE certified which means they are only allowed small variations from advertised BHP. Are you saying Ford is actually producing 500HP motors from the factory? I thought SAE only allows a 1% tolerance.
