My best is 5.2. 6MT PP and LMS 93 tune with catless dp. I did not have the ATM intercooler yet at the time. I should try another run soon just been too busy to worry about it.
Of all the parts that have come out for the EB in the last 18+ months I believe this is the one I like the most. I'm sure there are gains to be had. I've got no doubt it'll handle way more boost that the stock plastic piece. Those are good things. But mostly it is a beautiful piece of artwork...
Running the ATM here for the last 5 months. No worries abut pressure drops. There has been no increased lag/spool time. And now that it's warming up the drop off due to heat has been far less than it was a year ago on the stock intercooler.
The one thing I think you'll notice with any good...
This is a curiosity post more than anything.
I'll just go on and say it. When, not if, the MT82 in my car goes bad I will not be replacing it with another MT82. I'm at 35.5k right now and I can already tell the input shaft bearing is making some noise. Not much but definitely some. My last...
Awesome work guys. I love it.
Interested to see the next round of numbers.
Any chance of a video?
Thanks for sharing the details and lets get some more pictures. I love these kind of threads.
I've had mine for 14 months and will hit 33.5k tomorrow. It would be higher but I spent about 9 weeks of those 14 months driving rental cars while out of town for work. When at home I average close to 100 miles per day. My hand calculated mileage since new is 28.3 mpg. So IMO it's a decently...
I thought this just happnened to me. I ended up going to 2 independent shops that both got it wrong before I took it to the dealer. They fixed it properly. I never used to trust the dealer but where I live at now you can't trust the independents.
I'm more or less attempting to track the oil accumulation caught relative to the miles driven. If a certain oil shows that it consistently produces higher or lower numbers under similar conditions it could be an indicator of how well that oil resists turning into oil vapors in the crankcase...
*** This thread is not about Blown Engines***
Okay I've been following as much as I can the issues some people have had regarding excessive oil consumption and in extreme cases blown engines.
My concern is that certain oils may be more susceptible to misting in the crankcase. In that event it...
Okay this may have been brought up but in truth I don't have time to comb through 14 pages of posts.
First off Greg I am very sorry this happened to you. I can imagine how I'd feel and it would suck. I respect the way you're handling this and yourself through the resolution to this problem...
Well figured I'd update this. I had to drive to Indiana (540 miles) after I left the dealer so I'm finally getting around to it.
They used the forced variance balancer today. All the tires were between 17 and 26 lbs of force. They also checked for out of round (all passed) and rotated them as...
Well no news yet at the dealer currently.
I'm going to ask about the road force on each tire and out of round.
Any other specific questions I should ask for information about?
Another one here with this issue. I have the 8" MFT system. At first it happened a couple of random times starting about 6 months ago. Now it's quite regular. Pretty much at least once a day.
Just made an appointment with my dealer for the 14th. (earliest I can get there)
Well to simplify the answer. It is all the time at cruising speed (around 70) regardless of Ambient or tire temperature or road surface. The worst culprit at the moment is the right front. Is it possible it's just that one tire? I suppose it is. Like I said I'll know more tomorrow.
200 a...
Well I suppose I'll have to start looking at runout then. Oddly enough it was smoooth as glass till the day I swapped out the tires. Hasn't been comparable since. We'll know tomorrow after putting it on the forced variance balancer if it's solvable or not.
Thanks for the ideas and comments.
