  1. Stock GT PP suspension worth anything?

I have a basement full of stuff off my PP1, including the complete suspension. I think I'd give it away just to get rid of it.
  2. PAID OFF! Celebration!

Paid off my house in 1992, haven't borrowed money since then. Get out of debt and stay out of debt, watch the money pile up.
  3. Race Louver Fender Vents

I see rain or snow but the car never does! It sleeps in a warm garage all winter, travels to and from the track on a trailer and generally is pampered except when I am thrashing it on a track. Thanks for the info.
  4. Fan shroud??

I don't think you want more air flow in there, unless you've got a really well vented hood, and even then you can make aero gains by restricting and directing the incoming air. There's already too much pressure under the hood with the car stock so adding more air flow is going to be bad for...
  5. Race Louver Fender Vents

So no downside on removing the liners? I've been looking for more junk to get rid of.....LOL!
  6. Where to buy BG syncroshift ii in Canada?

Some people wouldn't notice an A bomb going off in their backyard. Some people have zero mechanical feel or sympathy. Yes, sympathy, it's a good trait to have unless you like spending your kids inheritance on repairs for your toy. BG definitely makes a difference in shifting, there's no...
  7. MT82 & MT82-D4 Class Action; Case # 2:19-cv-09773 FMO(Ex)

My '16 PP1 car is only used on track, has been extensively improved for track work. While the MT-82 isn't fabulous, it is way better than the version that was in my '11 Brembo GT. I found the shifting with the stock shifter improved about 1000% when I put BMR motor mounts and a trans mount...
  8. 2020 Performance Package price

My window sticker for a '16 says $3700 Cdn for PP1. I paid $35K Canadian for the car. Which is what Heritage was selling off their '20 PP1's for this year.
  9. Gear ratio for road course

Totally right on. The MT-82 is effectively a 3 speed box at all the road courses I run. 1st is only for starting from stop, 2nd is not much better, 3-4-5 are useful and 6th is useless. I run out of revs in 5th gear all over the place with the 3.73 rear, thinking about going to 3.55's.
  10. Ford Performance has released a Performance Pack for 2018+ GTs

That's good if they didn't add it in, at least from my experience and a road course point of view. I tried that NLS on a 4-5 upshift and got enough wheelspin to get the ass end out. At over 100 mph that's not fun.
  11. Ford Performance has released a Performance Pack for 2018+ GTs

Maybe. I have one in my PP1 and I've never felt any difference at all and my lap time and trap speeds did not change. Putting a good hood vent in did way more than this thing did. Plus the NLS feature causes havoc on the road course, it's a drag racer thing I guess but on a road course it...
  12. The Beginning of Cooling Issues

You won't be disappointed. Their stuff works. Significantly lower engine water and oil temps, better front grip, lower lap times, without a doubt the best bang for the buck I've seen for a road course Mustang.
  13. The Beginning of Cooling Issues

What he said, they weren't available yet. But I took some of the Race Louvers concepts and applied them to the Verus vents to hopefully increase their effectiveness. Think vane angles and wicker height.
  14. The Beginning of Cooling Issues

I have the Race Louvers vent, been through a couple of gulley washers with it and no problems at all. I installed it per directions and did nothing else, whatever water gets in there does nothing to the engine. Also have the Verus side louvers and no issues from them either.
  15. Talk me into tow hooks

Does it make the car faster? No? Then it isn't going on my car.
  16. Ramps for lowered PP1 cars

Ford has a wrecker guide for tow truck people and in it they talk about loading a GT350 onto a ramp trailer. They showed 2 stacked 2 X 8's (or 10's) with the ends staggered about 18" apart, and the ramps on top of the high end. So the car would go up 1 board at a time and then onto the ramp...
  17. Will my car start up fine?

Solution to that, or any car that's been sitting a long time. Both feet to the floor on the clutch and gas and then crank it over until you see oil pressure. Then it's fine to start it. But high quality synthetic oil should not do that, there should always be a sufficient film of lubricant...
  18. Has anyone had experience with this belt system?

Right, I never remove them, I just tuck them back out of the way and use the stock 3 point belt, takes about 20 seconds to go from stored out of the way to using them. The stock 3 point is for sure legal and probably safer on the street since it's designed to work with all the rest of the...
  19. Anyone Experience DSC Sport Suspension Controllers?

Only guy I knew over there who was using it dropped it and went to what every serious racer uses, double or triple adjustable high quality coilovers. Magnaride seems to me to be more of a tool to smooth out the ride and not a lot more, I've never seen them on a production based race car.
  20. Performance Pack Spoiler

Does that spoiler have any downforce or is it just cosmetic?
