The stock traction and ESP systems are very relaxed and slow to respond. My 86 was completely different and the fun brigade came in way early, the mustang is happily sideways at a fair angle before anything kicks in.

Yeh I tried to be real gentle and drive slowly on them because I don't have mudflaps on the front and heard that it's best to get those. Now I know why they said that - the rear wheel arch plastic on the rear bumper took a bit of a beating and there's a couple of stone chips down each side...
