Is this classed as 'standard'?
I've just gone onto the ford UK site to spec one, the 'image' shows the 55 edition pack, not the HP pack (as no side emblem), but as above, it shows the side emblem in it, however ford may now be doing 2.3's on the side rather than a 'high performance' badge...
Interesting point to note, the new fiesta we've just got for mum has the 'ford pass app' access, and according to the dealer she could start it from her phone (it's a manual).
Not tested it yet... but happy to if we think it could be a humorous thing to do / proves mustangs 'could' have it etc?
Being down at <500 to insure mine this year, i have a feeling next year (and i'll lose my crash that's now 5.5yrs ago and was only 1k of dmg), will be fairly cheap like 3-500 ish, and a v8 probably around the 800's would be my guess.
Albeit, with the Mustang Mach-E coming out, i'd sooner buy a...
Satin finishes 'usually' use less lacquer, but, you can now get 'satin lacquers' which you can build up with layers the same as a gloss lacquer and it'll keep it 'satin' in finish, so there's some truth to the durability element for what i know (But worth asking a reputable painter on that stuff)
I know you did, but some newbies will sit there thinking "ooooh it's cheaper" and may not actually look at all the costs, which for us 'youth'/'ex-youth' is a bit of a high cost annoyingly so!
Yes and instead of spending money modding it, spend 5k a year on insurance. I think anyone who didn't get a car <24 yrs old or somehow get some miracle insurance, will be able to tell you, like i can, 20-24 insurance for a v8 is the following (going off memory as i've done a check every year)...
There's the following btw.
15-17 - 310 (listed), 270 (Actual)
18-20 - c280 (listed), 270 (actual)
20 w/ Hi Performance (EXTRA) - c350 (lited) - Actual TBC.
The 20 does not automatically come with the high performance pack, all UK cars come with a 'performance pack' as the US models have, which...
I've removed two badges, you've got to drill out the plastic-welded mounting tabs, and then prize it off, the holes left aren't huge but you can't cover them with a tri-bar emblem or a pony emblem (out of the faux cap). There's about 5 or so bits to drill out.
You could fill and paint them, but...
the Hi-Perf variant still hasn't been dyno'd, but for info, the 18+ (Mod refresh) are pushing 270 on dyno, the same as a pre refresh, however, the 18 is listed around 280 whereas the 15-17 is listed at 310 (but doesn't make it).
Take it from me who's been in your shoes, get the older variant...
Well if you muppets don't talk about politics in a clearly non political forum i wouldn't need to bring it down to a "childish or immature" level of conduct when you're all back and forwarding about some stupid politics, that frankly every person sick and tired about hearing from as if the news...
p.s weird braking when wet, do tell? Are we talking it pulls one way? Does it fish tail? what's the "weird" as that's subjective. Brakes aren't something you want to be "weird" like maybe you want the mrs to be in the bedroom, but brakes... leave those as normal and weird-free as possible lol
Correct, it's a fairly simple install, remove a bunch of 7mm bolts that hold it in, add the prebought ducting, and mount it all up behind the brakes. Can confirm they work a charm on track on both the 4 and 6 pot brembos (because i'm that nobhead that has both.... lol)
