*You need them for MOT's :D!
I just deleted my fogs rewired my tribars and sidelights to be DRL and sidelights (Dimming mode on DRLs for indicating) and jobs a good-un :D
If it was straight piped, yes, however most "Modded" cars run a X or H pipe, which means the banks "cross" in the midpipe post the headers/cats so it's not left side exhaust = left side of engine etc usually!
But if it was straight piped, your "ignorance" would be correct :).
Question on it actually... you know the actual middle screen between the rev and MPh gauges, does yours flick between opposing 'poles' in the direction top right, mine will go N/S repeat or like SW/NE etc.

Easy to fit, what i will highly advise, is attach them to the caliper before you go to the main hardline, leve them connected and blocked on the hardline to rubber line connection whilst you sort it all out, lots of towels etc.
Also, make sure you remember how the OEM ones are "clocked" and...
They look identical to what i had. (Which fit the 6 pot brembo's aka oem gt ones)
The block on steeda's is 'new' and trust me, you wouldn't want to replace it!
Having had both the EB, GT, and a meshed GT grille on mine, and having a big fuck you intercooler behind it, i can confirm they're very resistant to any stone.
