  1. Steering Wheel Stitching

Interesting idea. Seen any thread in Guard???
  2. Best $7 spent... Coil covers painted red

Oz, so you don't think I'm not responding, I will check on the specific numbers when I get to the house and can look at the cans I used. I will tell you this now though, no sanding prep of anykind as I wanted the factory finish (grain) to remain intact. I cleaned them with a prep specifically...
  3. Best $7 spent... Coil covers painted red

Hmm, interesting. Not sure what I will do yet. Hell, I haven't even removed the protective film over the 5.0 plate yet (surprised nobody caught that).
  4. Redline Tuning hood struts blowout !!!

What the heck??? I replied to this thread around 2PM, but it's not here... Oh well. Ordered mine today! And it was great talking to you Debbie!
  5. Time to #replacethegrenade with a ProCharger Aluminum Coolant tank for 2015 Mustangs!

The thing that is strange about this conversation is how telling it is of the ages of people who buy Mustangs...LOL. Believe it or not, there was a time when overflow tanks weren't used, let alone clear, and the only way to check coolant levels was to remove the cap.
  6. 3.55 worth it?

I love the 3.55 with the auto. Definitely a lot quicker than the 3.15s. Pulls nicely off the line.
  7. Best mod iv ever bought for the stang yet

A twin screw or roots type: power comes on all at once. IE. the KB on my '03 makes 11# of boost at 2650rpm. A centrifugal is more like a turbo and builds boost gradually.
  8. The 2 that fried...

You're correct, they didn't count the 'vert, and I believe it still doesn't count....1962 left...:D
  9. Time to #replacethegrenade with a ProCharger Aluminum Coolant tank for 2015 Mustangs!

In the Rice world, the logo being under the hood would add, at least, 20 - 30 HP!!
  10. Daytime Running Lights

There is a reason Ford made our DRLs different and didn't just use the headlights or additional single bulbs in the HL housings. They don't look like everyone else's DRLs, are a tribute to the early Mustang styling gills, and meet government regs requiring DRLs. Lastly, are very appropriately...
  11. My custom CAI thread: Completed!

Don't use metal if you can help it. Metal will act as a heat soak and could raise IATs, rendering your work ineffective.
  12. Handy little extras - recommendations / reviews?

Thanks. I've actually purchased from them before!!! I've been on eBay since it's inception, as a buyer and seller, even though I only have a score of 757 feedbacks. I've purchased almost an entire '73 Mustang in parts, and the only parts on my '03, which has a lot of modifications, NOT...
  13. Amp issue after sub install

I thought that there was an audio component to the sound of an EB engine built in by Ford??? Check out this thread, it should help. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11884&highlight=ecoboost+engine+sound
  14. CAI Debate

Do you know what's the most interesting part of that? '86 - '88, and some '89, Mustangs used Speed Density which was replaced by the superior control of Mass Air.....
  15. Redline Tuning hood struts blowout !!!

Ordered!! Great talking to you Debbie.
  16. Redline Hood Strut Review and Installation

Thanks for the review. You just made my decision for me! I was undecided between Redline and MRT.
  17. Drag wheel advice?

I have used Welds, Prostars and Alumastars in the past and have not had a single negative experience with them. Alumastars held up well to 743rwhp track duty. The Prostars were used only at the track also, but on a 412rwhp '03. That's as far as my experience with late models goes. Now, if...
  18. The 2 that fried...

Ouch!! So there ARE actually only 1962 remaining....
  19. Car Duster

Yes, that surprises a lot of people who do not read the card attached and just pull it out and wipe. I believe many have ended up in the trash because of this, but it does stop happening after a few uses. Just don't wash it with hot water or you'll remove the paraffin and it won't work very well.
