For those of us not looking for extra power and just cooling benefits, why can’t we just install a 20 or 30 degree cooler thermostat instead of $500+ intercooler?
I have the Perrelli P Zero Nero stock tires with 19” wheels. The dealer had them pumped up to 40 psi. I am currently running them at 31 psi. Much better but, still a lot rougher riding than the 2011 V6 convertible mustang I traded in for it. That 2011 had the same crappy tires on it when I...
So, I have been thinking which way to go since this is a brand new car. There is only one way to keep the engine super clean. That is to change the oil often before it has a chance to gum up. I think instead of changing my filter half way through a 8000 or 10,000 mile oil change, I am going to...
I hate black wheels also. To me, they look like wheels that had hubcaps over them and have fallen off. On getting a GT? Nobody will ever regret buying a GT. The sound is so pleasing every time you start it up makes you happy. The only possible regret for buying a GT is the money you have to...
I took the bezels and kick plates etc. that the video showed and left the digital dash in with all this stuff surrounding it pulled off. Drilled a hole as far left as I could and peeled the rest off with the help of a crowbar. I think the purpose for the plastic cover is to protect but, there is...
I just removed the plastic cover over the digital dash on my 2018. Not sunny where I am today but, it should help with sun glare and reflections a whole lot.
I just traded a 2011 loaded premium convertible for a 2018 ecoboost premium coupe. I wanted the V8 but, only for it’s sound. Both the V6 and the new ecoboost have plenty of power. For me, it was only about the exhaust sound. Everything else steers me to the non V8s.
Nope, not jumping to conclusions without anything to back them up. Proof: Ford selects the motorcraft fl910s as their choice of filter on this new engine. Not the 400s or any other. You don’t need any other proof than that.
Sure, it’s marketing. I realize that. I just copied and pasted their claims. That way it comes from their mouths, not mine. So, it’s not me having a few things to learn or failing to realize things or even your last claim that I just don’t have facts. Things I never tell people cause it’s just...
I’ve never heard that. I guess my take on that would be..if I like the tires, I would change the air to try to make them last long and if I don’t like the tires, leave it and hope they wear quick so I could get a new set of tires that I like. I wouldn’t change the air in these pirelli p zero...
We can bring up anything we want. But, the thread wasn’t about that. It was asking if anybody did filter changes halfway through oil changes. Not opinions about whether I should or not but whether anybody did this or not.
Yes, as filters get used, they clog up more and actually filter better but, that restricts flow. Do you really want to do that? Plus, many here are using Motorcraft filter fl400s instead of recommended fl910s in their Ecoboost. Yes, the 400s filters better but, doesn’t flow as good. Add on to...
Well, I used to do it and felt good about it. I’ll probably be the only one on here doing it. Might just keep the engine a little bit cleaner! Takes about 15 minutes to do and the oil drips into a drip pan so, not much of a problem to do.
To help keep things cleaner in the engine. Also, does anybody know if I do that will much oil spill out from the oil not being drained or does the oil pan hold all of the oil in an Ecoboost? So, let’s say I change the oil every 8000 miles and plan on changing the oil filter out at 4000-5000...
