  1. How bad is taco bell for you?

You mean "Taco Hell"? Used to be one of the few fast food places I still went to. Haven't been there in years, and the last time I had the person handing me my food coughing up a phlegmy storm. I said "thank you" and immediately disposed of it in the trash when I got home. My last holdouts for...
  2. New quad tip diffuser

Hey guys and gals. For those of you who don't lurk the "new products" pages on AM, CJ, LMR, etc... on the daily like I do, you may have missed this new product. It's a quad tip diffuser by MP Concepts that fits all 15-17 S550s with the premium bumper. I've always wanted to do quads for my ar...
  3. I'm a bit disappointed.

Fair and valid point. I also can't imagine shifting with my left hand either, but I guess that's all a question of habit. I imagine it would be pretty weird for me to transition over to using my left hand in order to use my car.
  4. Introduce yourself!!

*virtual high five* for going with a stick :like:
  5. Introduce yourself!!

Slapping a Whipple on is one way to break in a new car, hahaha. Congrats on the new ride!
  6. Introduce yourself!!

I chuckled at the "only 270K miles" haha. And yes, that would be quite the perfect present for such a big occasion!
  7. Introduce yourself!!

Welcome to the dark side.... Or was that the good side? I forget. In any case, congrats on the new ride !
  8. 70's Mach1 Wing for the S550

Take a look at these. Obviously not exact replicas, but it seems like they're the closest you will get to that kind of spoiler for an S550. I honestly think that it basically resembles the 70's Mach 1 spoiler, only redesigned to fit/flow with the s550. Only real difference IMO is that the...
  9. The GT350 really is quite rare

Santa Barbara/SoCal has quite a few roaming about, but primarily on weekends. Also, it's important to keep in mind that many GT350 owners don't use the car as a DD (I know one locally that only really drives his to Cars and Coffee, that's all :crying:), whereas many people with "non-GT350"...
  10. First time tomorrow... Updated for second run

Well, seeing as you have an auto: 1)Line up at the tree 2)stomp on the gas 3) Remember to brake at the end Lowering tire Psi won't do much unless you are having serious issues with launching/getting traction, which shouldn't be an issue on a prepped track with an unmodified 5.0.
  11. GT tick - dealer experience

Just a copy paste from my experience (*cough*rant*cough*) with this whole issue that I posted on the last forum where we were discussing the "tick". "So an update on my end: Before anything, if you are near Santa Barbara County, DO NOT GO TO PERRY FORD!!!! Don't waste your time there, as they...
  12. GT tick - dealer experience

Going to give Vreeland Ford in Buellton a shot when I get back, but if it turns out they can't fix it, I know where I'll be going next (even if it's a drive away)
  13. Carbon Fiber Addicts Anonymous Thread

You are correct. The studs are in fact positioned over the radiator support brackets. And I too was also going to add that this location may not work on other hoods, as the design of different hoods may require alternate solutions/placement. I do almost everything myself when it comes to my car...
  14. Tired of waiting for the GT500

I completely agree that they are taking their sweet a$$ time.... It's one thing being a tease, but it just gets to the point where you run the risk of alienating some fans. That said, I am still excited to see the final product, just annoyed. Also, won't lie by saying that I NEED to see the REAL...
  15. Carbon Fiber Addicts Anonymous Thread

Hi everyone! My name is AmericanV8Guy (Nick for the ladies), and I too am a CF addict....
  16. I'm a bit disappointed.

As Gr11M said, the 5.0 is rev happy, and you won't really have that "slammed into your seat" feeling unless you are at least over 3.5K while gunning it. Also, that's kind of one of the main problems of having an auto. With a stick, you can easily adjust where you want to be in the RPM range by...
  17. Tipping Sensation During Hard Cornering (roll center?), SP080 springs, PP swaybars and Struts

Although springs do play a large role in the overall handling of any car, there are also many other components as well. For instance, I'm sure that the "tipping" sensation you are experiencing can be gotten rid of or at least reduced by adding stronger/thicker front and rear sway bars. Even...
  18. Help me choose my 2019 Color please.

You're not hanging out with the right women then
