Not the same situation, but my Stage two S4 (supercharger) had a similar issue...very scary. Never fixed it, just had to live with it. But the S4 has no way close to the power you car puts down, don't you shread the tires with WOT in third? Maybe the computer cannot keep up with the wheel spin...

I already have the 3.73 gears, it is a PP optioned car...also has the Recaro cloth seats, those are nice, and an upgraded stereo, not that great unfortunately. I wounder if it is the speakers or head unit.

Your right...It is actually a Gibson cat back with the X pipe... The sound is incredible, too bad it has a drone around 2k RPM, worst is 6th gear at 60MPH and below. Just came back from a 400 mile trip from upstate NY with my wife and our two small dogs, did some fly fishing. What a fun...
