Ah......man! This is why I am concerned about installing forced induction on my car, I will probably end up same way and kill myself!
Thank goodness he is ok, and double that for not hurting an innocent bystander!!!
My 2015 GT pp(3.73 gears) made 406. Cat back 3" Gibson and on E85R tune.
On a Mustang Dyno, close to sea level at approx 60 deg F morning.
I also was expecting more. But it feels very strong, I am happy with the power it has. Can barely use the power as it is...
Yes.
The Steeda H pipes needs to be cut behind the "Steeda" brace, they are much longer than needed. Also after they are cut, the H pipes are still further apart from each other (paralel), than the Borla mating midpipes.
Another member told me he had no problem mating to the Borla after he had...
Hi,
The problem with purchasing any car with hight mileage is the unpredicted failures that may occur. So reading from your statement tells me you may not be able to afford it, so save some money and buy later!
There is no issue with buying a high mileage used car as long as you do the...
Lesson number one with regards to car paint, never ever let bird dropping stay on the paint for more than few days, preferably remove within a day. I learned it the hard way!
Bird dropping is very acidic, and will eat through the clear coat very fast.
Unfortunately it is too late, you will have...
Regarding the AC evaporator issue, I wonder if it is only an issue with the higher level trim package that has the dual zone control option. My 15 pp is base so a single core evaporator, no issues so far, This is just my own observation/guess.
Like someone else said, if you are not going to boost the car buy an 18+ with the gen 3 Coyote, if you can really afford to, if your plans are to boost the car in the future then the 15-17 gen 2 Coyote might be more reliable. It is not a guarantee, but better odds from what I have researched.
Last year I bought a base model 2015 GT pp with recaros and I love it! It only had 17k miles, now I have almost 23k, car is solid. I did buy the extended warranty as well just in case.
Personally, I would welcome any modes and aftermarket components, will save money in a long run as most of us...
What filter system are you using? I have heard of this before, sounds like a great idea! Only question is cost, but definitely cheaper than loosing money on trading a car...another member suggested on using Di water in 1 gallon jags you can buy cheap, and rinsing car after a wash.
Sorry to hear that!
Can you recall the exact last run condition your car was in (gear, rpm etc) before going WOT and having the failure?
If it is a ringland then major detonation had to occur somehow obviously.
Lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control is one of the best safety features of all times, it makes a commute so relaxing. I use it all the time on the other two cars we have, Subaru outback, and Hyundai Ionic my comuter...I wish I had it in my base 2015 pp...
It could save you from an...
This is a mistake in my opinion, it is going to put us behind this new up and coming technology. We need to be the leaders here, to be at the front edge!
Ok that makes sense! You probably had to cut it behind the Steeda brace right?
Did you have to bend the pipes closer to align with the midpipes?
Thanks!
