If you're interested in opening up your headlights, check out the forum site hidplanet.com. They are an excellent source for headlight upgrade questions, including what's involved with opening up your lights. I did a HID retrofit on my '06 Mountaineer, and the advice I got from the community was...
I thought about putting it there, but there are so many posts that I searched through, I figured it would be better to post a new thread to make it easier to find.
Thanks. I ordered it from autonationfordwhitebearlake.com a couple months ago. They used to be Tousley Ford Parts and I've had good...
9. Use 24mm socket (15/16 works as well) to loosen bolt holding wheel on. Remove steering wheel.
10. Install new GT350 wheel, and tighten bolt to 35 ft-lbs
11. Install the rest of the pieces in reverse order. All the Torx screws are self-tapping. The silver Torx are easy to strip out, so...
Highlighted the tabs on trim pieces.
7. Remove 2 additional Torx screws. Use a small flat screw driver to press on tab to release wiring connectors for the Cruise control and voice commands
8. Remove main gray wiring connector at top of steering wheel by pressing on tab to release
5. Using T20 Torx screw driver, remove 8 screws that hold on trim

I got tired of waiting around for the video from CJ's showing how to install the GT350 wheel, so I decided to just go for it. I couldn't find any instructions with pictures, so I took a few while doing my install. Hopefully they'll help the next guy.
Although I tried to document every step...
I tried to take the pony off the grill while I had the grill out and couldn't get it off. As I recall, it's attached with those "one-way" push on type washer clips that slide over a pin and dig in to it. I didn't want to risk breaking a pin off so I decided not to paint it.
I used 4 coats of...
I got the "updated" version of the MRT exhaust, which did away with most drone issues. There is a slight drone around 1500 rpms, but I'm not driving at the rpm, so it doesn't bother me.
I took the bumper cover off to get at the valence, which is a separate piece for the premium option. It...
Thanks everyone for the positive comments. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out and that I didn't have to alter my bumper cover. Before I cut into the valence, I priced out the part and it was less than $100 so I figured it would be a lot cheaper to replace if I screwed it up than than...
Being very disappointed in the sound of my exhaust, I was on the hunt for something more throaty as soon as I picked up my car. I really liked the look of the Roush quad tipped active exhaust when I saw pictures of it from the SEMA show. I kept waiting and when it finally showed up on their...
Thanks for the response. I did a conversion, and 13/16 = 20.6mm, so it is very close. Must be once they torqued them to 150 ft-lbs, they distorted enough that the 13/16 would no longer fit. I had only torqued the rears to 100 ft-lbs.
