Lund was not able to solve the issue with 4.09 gears and high revving with AT - after 15 or more revisions we finally gave up
and took a different route. It was hitting the limiter on high rpm power 1-2 shift.
Funny thing after hitting the limiter PCM would use a different ignition table and...
Pump has different relief valve designed for thicker oil - not addressing that in your GT350/GT mix might destroy your engine. Pump body is the same but the pick-up tube has to be different because the GT350 pan is bigger/deeper.
Depends on trans and gearing - I get best shifting at different rpm for each gear. I've seen ton of exploded engines due the CS or OPG failure in N/A as well. Agreed, it's a lottery but I'm not taking a risk.
Max power with GT350 mani is @ approx 7200 rpm - you don't need more RPM to use the 100% of engine power. Also I would not recommend reving the motor past 7500 without billet OPG/CS upgrade.
You cant't make much more power at higher RPM with just a manifold because you will be hitting a...
Not quite unfortunately - TC monitors the wheel spin only. ESP monitors the torque and the torque is all about ESP. No torque no ESP.
If I would crash with a Lund tune I would sue them and win easily. Altering the OBD data in any way in a modern vehicle is against Federal Law!
Proves that Lund and Whipple manipulates the OBD data and torque model. Interesting read on Lund's operating system - they say it's a modified version of Ford's Control Pack.
Marketing make wonders...numbers, numbers. I take that 500 rwhp with a grain of salt...
Get a 5.2 block with GT350 heads and you can make like 100 hp more on E85.
