Mine may be slightly below the top surface too, but just barely. It feels flush when you run a finger over it.
Also, what's this about removing the stock washer below the mount? I don't think the "washer", if that's what it is, comes off the FRPP shocks.
Just an update on my situation. AutoNation White Bear Lake (Jerry) was very good with my predicament but of course needed to clear things with FRPP, so I called them. The FRPP guy was dumbfounded to hear that both shocks had failed (as was I) and said he had never heard of such a thing. But when...
Just had Steeda Linear Sports, FRPP Track Shocks/Struts with Steeda Billet Top Mounts and CB005 installed by a reputable local shop. Everything went well except one rear shock blew out on his test drive. Lost all the fluid. The FRPP boxing (FRPP or AutoNation White Bear Lake) was pretty poor...
Just got the M-18000-F Track struts and shocks and not sure if the bumpstops that came with them are sized for a 1" lowered application. The FRPP page says to use the M-5570-B jounce bumpers, but those look similar to what came with the kit. Anyone know?
Thanks
This is the OEM set from my 2016 GT. 4200 miles with no winters, salt, burnouts or track time. Wheels are excellent except for one chip that hopefully shows on the one pic. I'm in the Chicago area and am willing to drive a reasonable distance. $1000
I would think that for people staying on the street that your sales numbers sweet spot would be 19's that can do the 285-305 range with no spacer clearance if possible. And since the 918 Weisach wheels are my ultimate look, EC-7 for sure.
