Thank you, I have actually been exploring new tires as I think they’re just going to age out here pretty quickly. I’m the same way on my pick up, I dont keep a set past 5 years. I go lots of places where good tires have saved me in that truck while others are needing a 50 mile ride into town...
That is a fantastic post right there and I have just learned a lot. Thank you sir! My tires are a bit old even though not worn out they are reaching that 5 year mark (garaged car so no sun damage).
NightmareMoon, that 1.8ish number for camber is that for the rear end? I just want to be clear...
Do you find the oversteer an issue? I maybe just not used to the power, and front weight of an American muscle car. I have only had this car about 6 months and it’s not my daily. Prior, I had a Cayman S (mid engine) for 10 years and it was a very balanced drive.
Ah ok, interesting. I’ll have to call the shop and talk about bringing it back in for another alignment. I used the numbers Steeda gave me and just told the alignment guys to get it as close to those numbers as possible.
I have a 2020 PP1, steeda minimum drop springs, FP track shocks/struts, and steeda stop the hop kit. I just installed the stop the hop brackets a few days ago and now I really notice how much oversteer I am getting. I am finding the rear end coming out from behind me a little too easy. This...
I installed this kit yesterday and finished downloading the tune and took it for a spin before dinner… verdict: I instantly knew it was worth it as when I drive out of the neighborhood on a cold stat motor; the A10 transmission is jerky and twitchy. I could barly touch the throttle or it would...
I have a 5.0 10R80 in my 2019 F150 pick up that I drive hard with 120k miles on it zero problems. I have owned the truck since new.
I have the same combo in my 2020 mustang with 7k miles also zero problems (so far).
I just completed the installation of minimum drop from Steeda and I’ve experienced all of the same positive attributes but non of the negative you describe. Car is 1/2-3/4 lower than stock. And over bad road it’s actually improved. I’d probably contribute that to the new dampers I put in.
Devon, I am sorry my snide comment took away from your topic and I hope you can get the help you need. I apologize as I did not contribute to a solution for you.
During my career in law enforcement (25 yeas and now retired) I was probably blessed to not have to do much mundane stuff like...
Wow, a cop that has time to smell your exhaust must not be much of a crime fighter. There are real bad guys out there and he’s decided your car is killing the environment. Thank goodness we have him on duty.
