Just read on line that very fact--Oshawa will be building cars into November--but GM says 2016 cars will be available by end of year. Since the line is moving to the US I'm thinking there will be an overlap in production of 2015's and 2016's--or does anyone think the day after the last car rolls...
We have had plates stolen off company cars and in order to get new ones our leasing company has to give one of us POA to get new plates--good thing they were not personalized. I left my plates with my salesman because the Mustang they were on was sold-when I picked up the car the plates and new...
I'd have to get the paperwork but I got a cashiers cheque for $48,000 when I picked up my car--Premium Ecoboost, PP, Automatic, back up sensors, basic extended warranty and sales tax. Now, the kicker is the money came from my US funds banking account so I think with exchange it cost me $38,500...
I've had this on pre-order with Amazon since last July--anybody know when this book will be published? I can only hope they are delaying it to include everything about the GT-350 we can't know about yet.
A lot of the honeycombs are closed up to force more air through the ones that are open for the radiator--you can't convince me this will improver performance one bit
I like the reverse light but really I've always thought the lights were to warn others you were backing up not for seeing at night. Reverse lights were an option on early Mustangs and I've had some cars with really small lights--I think the 84 Corvette was the first car I remember with big back...
I activated the feature that moves the seat back when you shut it off--not that I'm real big I thought it might be easier to get my old ass legs in easier--it helps a little but you have to wait for it to move ahead again when you start it.
They are going to simplifiy the menu, maybe do all day breakfast--I'd like to see a gourmet burger or bring back that McDLT. I got no complaints over the food, as for snobs who think they are above it--stay away
I first got my license in the late 70's and if someone told me someday you could buy a car that did 12.8 in the quarter I'd have laughed at them--even 10 years ago that time with a Mustang GT would have required a lot of aftermarket cash spent. We live in a great age.
I ordered my car Jan 20th and it arrived 2nd week of March--once it goes into production the process is fast--and being a 6 hour drive from Flatrock the car showed up quick.
We got a Journey R/T as a family car and I dare say that 3rd row is as cramped as the back of a Mustang--we just keep it folded down--probably didn't need the 3rd row. I do got to say that V6 will surprise you with its acceleration.
Checking the dipstick is part of doing a proper oil change--in fact the guy that taught me(high school part time job) would have you check the dipstick before and after the change--and always make sure the gasket came off with the filter.
My brother has an 09 Challenger and I'm 5' 10" and find the back seat an easy place to sit for a long drive--I look at my Ecoboost's back seat and doubt either of my teenage kids will ever sit in them-- If traveling with your family is important the Challenger is a great choice.
I'm going to be near the Walden Galleria Sunday--any recomendations for downtown or the airport area--we want to try something other than The Anchor Bar
I think its a miracle how much technology is packed into todays Mustang that wasn't in a 1971 Mustang, crumple zones, lots of airbags, infotainment systems, electronic guardians, independent rear end just to name a few and the present cars weigh maybe 200lbs more?
