Why do you leave on idle if traction isn't an issue? I don't have an auto but I would think launching at higher rpm would lead to a better et if you have traction
lmr numbers are always high. check out any of their dyno videos. still awesome though probably makes around 400whp which is way better than a stock 15-17.
Yea if you go on live link you can add it to your x4 to monitor or log. Mine was at -.14 for weeks until I retuned and reset the ecu now it's at 0.0. So maybe it does actually work. No one talks about it on gt cars though on the eco is was something good to monitor.
Is oar similar as a ecoboost where -1.0 is perfect and 1.0 bad? I have it on my sct I think it has been stuck at .11 for weeks. Never makes any adjustment I don't think it actually does anything for the gt.
Just wanted to say after the header install I have had almost no part throttle knock. Still having some random after hard shifts though. But part throttle knock seems almost under control. I only noticed it happen once around 3k in 1st gear when the power surged a bit. It went 0.5 then 1.0...
Just had headers installed, previously had the touring catback. All I can say is holy nightmare. The car sounds basically the same if you drive around like a normal law abiding citizen, but when you start giving it some throttle it becomes a beast. I thought the catback alone sounded deep but...
I wish I could test mine on the stock tune. It seems like we are experiencing a similar problem for sure. I might try to take off my catch cans I have the ford driver/passanger side ones. Who knows what will help at this point.
I have added some Sunoco gt plus once Only like 2gallons I had laying around. I have a flexfuel tune so I switch between e85 and 93. Haven't noticed a difference between any type of fuel.
1st and 2nd. All over the place tip in tip out randomly in rpm range. Usually just a quick blip around 0.5-2.0 sometimes increases or holds steady till I let off but I'm never really in the gear long enough. Never happens in other gears. Happens probably 25% of the time.
I have shared logs with...
I have driven 1000s of miles. And it was a fluke I just drove around dropped my car off for header install lots of knock sensor activity. Anyway I'll stop taking over op thread.
Today for the first time my car didn't register any knock while driving home about 30mins. During my morning commute it had the usual knock all the time in 1st and 2nd. Maybe it finally learned properly? Hope it wasn't just a fluke. Getting headers installed tomorrow.
