  1. Alabama FS: Full Suspension + More

Biggsy, My whole car only has 14,000 miles. Lives in the garage when it’s nice enough to ride my motorcycle. I’d say all the suspension parts have maybe 6,000 miles on them. All parts have been cleaned up and inspected, and I can get more photos of whatever you’re interested in. Let me know...
  2. Alabama FS: Full Suspension + More

Lol! There are lots of parts here, I know. I figured that other engineer/technical type people would appreciate the breakdown. Prefer to ship bundled parts.... make offers!
  3. Alabama Sold: FS: Full Suspension + More

***ALL SOLD*** Full suspension setup for 2015-2019 S550 Mustangs. Used for last half of '18 autocross season in CAMC, and it performed amazing. Transformed the car into a Miata killing machine! New project on the way so this must go. Shipping is on the buyer, and I'm willing to ship pretty much...
  4. How close is “too close” when running wide tires?

Adding.... The more you’re lowered, the worse large front tire fitment becomes. I am lowered only 0.75” all around on Steeda Dual Rates. No issues with either set of my 305/35s daily or 305/30s at CAM-C autocross grip levels. Do not stack wheel spacers if you can easily avoid it. You...
  5. How close is “too close” when running wide tires?

You quoted me in this post, and I’m glad my information is useful, but your last comment would be more accurate if phrased thus: “When running wide wheel/tire combos in the front of the S550, take note that the TALLER tires could potentially graze the plastic inner fender LINER (not the fender...
  6. Bringing track wheels to the track

What was the total cost shipped? (If you want to share) Either way, please post some pictures here when you receive and build it! Is it color matched to your car? White tubing with black wheels?
  7. New - Steeda Parts

    PM sent on swaybars.
  8. WTB Cup2 GT350R tires

I have a set of four 305/30R19 Sport Cup 2 takeoffs with less than 40 miles (transport only) on them. Located in northern Alabama, Huntsville.
  9. Whiteline swaybars any good?

    1. @NightmareMoon What wheel and tire have you been using in autocross, if you haven’t been in CAMC up to this point? Remember the grip of 305/30R19 RE71Rs squared are a substantial step up from even RE71Rs in near stock sizes. In my recent discussion with Sam, he recommended a 35/25 setup. The...
  10. Whiteline swaybars any good?

I ran in FS for a single event last fall, and switched to CAMC (Novice indexed class) where I ran for all of 2018. First half of the season I was woefully under-prepped but with the Steeda parts mentioned in my first post here and some RE71Rs I finished strong. The balance of the car is pretty...
  11. Whiteline swaybars any good?

@Nagare You are correct I have mostly Steeda’s parts now... not because I didn’t consider other manufacturers products, but because for what I was looking for Steeda had the best parts. That’s the way I approach things. Ignore the names, colors, marketing, and look at the engineering of the...
  12. 2015 GT Auto - make my own 3.55 Torsen?

@Bluemustang I’ll sell you my OEM 2017 GTPP iron diff housing complete with T2R Torsen with LOW miles on it, and you can simply swap the gears inside for 3.55’s and put the whole unit directly in your car. Maybe that will motivate me to get an OS Giken unit..... LOL
  13. Autocross events near atlanta

I’m a short 3 hours due west of Atlanta, in Huntsville Alabama. Our local autocross group had our last event December 2nd. First event next season will be sometime in February/March, likely a PDS (Performance Driving School) will be the kickoff to the season. The closest chapter that is still...
  14. hans device?

@wmfateam Can you clarify what you mean here? Replying to the remaining theme of this thread, I’m interpreting that the Simpson Hybrid S is the only HANS device that is certified to work with factory seats and seatbelts regardless of car. What makes it different than any other HANS device...
  15. Whiteline swaybars any good?

CAMC autocross car, and daily driver. I should have probably started with swaybars, before doing everything else in the suspension, but I work backwards sometimes and so here we are. Looking to finish off my suspension with some swaybars and honestly the Whiteline BFK006 Kit, which includes...
  16. 2015 GT Auto - make my own 3.55 Torsen?

I autocross my 2017 GTPP in CAMC. I have swapped in a 3.55 pumpkin (complete) and finished the season on it. I love the ratio which along with a higher redline really lets the car wind up in second to a more appropriate top speed. Depending on tire height and rev limit could be at or above...
  17. Front Splitter Question

Here’s a 0:42 second video of the undercarriage of a 2015 GTPP, assuming that is what you have..
  18. Front Splitter Question

Yes the splitter extends back to approximately the front edge of the tire. This shouldn’t interfere with oil change access though, as the engine is further back than that area.
