Quite the opposite. I love my Steeda linear springs but that's all I initially installed. Now that I've done a couple HPDE days, I've found that I want sway bars to help with body roll and need camber plates to keep the outside edges of the front tires from shredding. If I'm going through all...
I started with sport linear springs and now looking at sway bars/struts. If I could start over, I would have just gone with the Steeda package:
Steeda S550 Mustang Dual Rate HPDE Suspension Pack
I'm looking at doing a square 19x11 setup with 20mm front spacer. From what I've seen, all the extended studs require open lug nut setup. My preference is to have close lug nuts and both front/rear having the same amount of lug/stud showing. OCD has me wanting a symmetrical appearance on all...
How's the temps there? At Wild Horse Pass / West track a couple weekends ago, i was seeing high 240 CHTs. Thinking I may need to flush the radiator and go with water wetter.
Glad you guys posted all this info. Im getting ready to order a set soon as the next steeda sale comes along. Anybody feel that just a rear bar is sufficient or should I just commit to doing both?
Same here. I'll be in the Red group as this is my second HPDE. I got booted from AMP last month for noise even though I had done my introductory course there in Feb.
From a cost of living standpoint, I thought Denver was very similar to Phoenix but a quick google tells me I'm wrong. Phoenix seems to have lower overall cost which I assume salaries would reflect a reduction too. Glassdoor.com shows entry level software guys making around $70k here and...
As a software / systems dev, Phoenix has treated me well. Cost of living is moderate, year round good weather (sure it's hot but it beats shoveling a driveway) and large spread out cities. 3 Colleges in the state help with young talent if that's what you need.
Sounds like we need a meet and greet at the upcoming AMP trackday. I've only done one HPDE and plan to be out there at the next one. I'll be in a black GT/pp with black/red stripes
RPI Designs I think you'd have better luck once you answer this. I'm in the market and would love to pull the trigger on purchasing a 350R style spoiler (and collect $100) but not if I'm left unhappy with a spoiler that vibrates.
What tool are you using for crimping those connectors? I'm working on a project and can't stand the cheapie crimp ring terminals from the local autozone store. These look much better.
Thanks,
Chris
