well said Bruce
like i said in my last post i am in my 50's (early) and had my fun early. kids came way later in life (43), i got a late start......but things change. i dont think i will ever lose interest in cars....maybe some certain models but in general no. i think the landscape will look...
so i have had a mustang since 1994, thru the years i have driven as daily (1994) and now have the 3 current ones that i dont drive much (66, 12, 15) various reasons. i dont drive them in the snow... why should i when we have an edge and escape for that....
also we now have a 7yr and 4yr old...
my 66 sets under cover, and the other 2 in the garage.... i do not drive the 66 that often, so it keeps it mostly protected from the elements in general...also it sets outside in winter so helps with snow and such. it is an "outdoor" cover so does a good job. very little wipe down after i take...
interesting when you look at these you can see the decline of the front hood as the years go on, meaning it seems to get lower than previous... like sliding off a cliff...
as mentioned in the 7g thread, i like the way the outside looks. good refresh, but cannot handle the interior dash.....
when is the dragon run? not that im going to make it but would be nice....
almost every day in Oct is packed with something i have to do....i can barely get off work to do anything around the house either.... ugh
i would love to see my car sitting in the middle of that photo cableguy, just...
i saw the reveal on internet, liked the look but couldn't get over "something" on the car....
and had to see it in person when it came out.....forward to 2014, charlotte, Mustang 50th anniv celebration. they had the black one, pre-production sitting there. im not a black car guy but i liked...
i have never paid over $500/mo for any car payment. i have always had $$ down to keep it under that. but i also never owned a $60,000+ car either.
also i try and pay extra each month on the loan to get it paid quicker....
never tell them you can afford a $xxx/mo car payment (even if you could)...
yup one of these people your describing also, but i dont go to the DQ, i went to the cruise-in's near me on saturdays, and i dont drive a Nissan....i drive a ford edge ST (performance vehicle), and soon to be bronco sport (slightly less performace vehicle).... also it is my "personal" time away...
this reminds me of the old mystic / mystichrome on the 1996, 2003, 04 cobras....
i originally saw something like this on a car but not a mustang.... the #24 nascar dupont of jeff gordon....at the time it was revolutionary.... no one had done that and it was radical....
i like it but not on my...
as i said before i probably will not get one of these, but i did order a new 2023 bronco sport, and its now showing "in production" which will be Nov 21.....
if i buy any more cars i need to find space to put them...im running out of room at the house.
so i've been thinking about this for awhile now and was wondering if our cars will actually be worth something in 20-30yrs seeing how the world is going "green" all of a sudden..
will there be any value in ICE cars at all if everything is electric or "something" else...?
i have a 2012 boss 302...
everyone likes the new Emblem on the Dark Horse, but i personally dont like it. if i would (and this is a very LONG shot would) get the new 2024 dark horse i would take the emblems off first thing and replace them with the real mustang logos.... i know ford is trying something different but...
its funny my wife and i were driving home over the weekend on the highway and we passed a Mach E and she said is that the electric mustang? i said yes, and (she not being a car person) said that is NOT a mustang at all! she asked me if FOrd put the Mustang name on it so it would sell.... i...
so not on a mustang but my Uncles car, looking for some advice.... he has a 2003 monte carlo and has lived near a stone quarry for the last 20yrs. the windows are "foggy" and seem to have some of the fallout from the stone quarry on them, over the years getting rained on and baked in the sun...
