He doesn't care about the facts he wants to be ignorant so he can make excuses. Professional drivers saying the car has too much power for the chassis to handle isn't exactly a compliment.
I don't think he's being sarcastic. He truly believes that the Camaros are crap and the Stangs are the best at everything. Same attitude as Blaq.
The GT500 is *fast*. I don't think anyone is doubting that fact. Discussing the effectiveness of putting all of those screaming eagles to use is...
What's your excuse on this one? https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/comparison-test/a30870010/2020-muscle-car-showdown/
Just want to make sure it gets properly added to the list.
What's funny is when some people get depicted as trolls on both sides because they aren't interested in pushing...
If you have to use aftermarket parts in order to adjust things, sure. If these adjustments are provided by the manufacturer and documented in the user manual, then they are, in fact, stock.
The Mustangs are usually somewhat looser than the Camaros, which means you're going to see that type of driving behavior in these comparisons. It's not like they are attempting one shot and only showing the footage from that run. They run these cars repeatedly trying to get the best they can out...
How easy to get are the GT500 cup 2's? I'm betting the GT500 arrived shortly before it was time to film and they didn't have enough time to procure new tires, even if they had the means and will to do so.
The Throttle House guys are pretty new to the scene and definitely do not have a huge...
I'm sure you can add the seats back in easily enough, I doubt it really makes that much of a difference, right?
It does seem weird that they went that route with the CFTP, considering it's not a "track only" car like the ZLE. I think the only reason they didn't do it on the ZLE is they were...
I wonder what roads these people are driving on that find the ZLE ride acceptable. There are some bumps around here that already bounce me out of the seat and into the roof in my normal ZL1. I know that at least some of them are lying to themselves about their decision and how they use their...
Either way it's a win for both cars. The GT500 is impressive for matching the 1LE with a softer suspension. The ZLE is impressive for keeping up with less power and for much cheaper. Even the Redeye was impressive for what it is.
Good times to have these kinds of options when looking for...
They did run it that way, track tests were done first thing in the morning. (They mentioned this in the video.)
Sounds like the Throttle House guys are pretty disappointed in the tire situation too, but sometimes you've got to run what you've brung.
These guys don't have the money to put brand new rubber on all 3 cars. Ford supplied the GT500 for them to use.
I agree though, this kind of comparison should really have 2-3 new sets of tires for each car. Problem is, someone has to spend the money to do so.
That's why same day track comparisons matter.
Thoroughly enjoyed the video. Each car was able to show off what they are good at.
Both the GT500 and ZL1 are incredibly impressive for what they offer.
It's too bad that Ford didn't put on new tires, always something with these comparisons to...
To be fair a lot of the ZL1 folks I've seen don't like the stock ZL1 tires because they don't hook until you heat them up a bit and are super skittish in the rain. The ZLE tires belong on a race track, period.
I think the stock regular ZL1 tires are fantastic for the street and light track...
