I just don't understand your post. 2007 mustang production earned the highest JD Power quality rating ever. I still have one. Other than the Takata airbag recall my experience is zero defects and all satisfaction. The 2017 V6 is approaching 36K with zero defects and all satisfaction. Some...
front plates required in MO, but not me. two reasons-they ruin the appearance and interfere with air flow to the radiator. have been pulled over once, two lane black top state road-county mounty. was at the speed limit so I knew it was about the plate. Sir, license & registration please...state...
Doc, I would not throw your PP1 wheels away. Build a second set with winter tires,
assuming the PP1 is summer. Change wheels with the seasons. I got a set of TPMS
from Amercan Muscle (i think) for about $124.
legacy traction control worked on my ABS equipped [old] Fords by applying brake to the spinning wheel. that system worked. never a problem in snow. drove my 95 CV on sand down an incline at a beach with a posted sign [4 wheel drive vehicles only] no problem going down or up - the ABS was busy...
agree. 2017 was buying, when the v6 was dying. not much inventory. found a magnetic 3.7L.
victory blue has more curb appeal. in an upscale HP mustang i would want the curb appeal. however, the magnetic has a personality that grows on you. no complaints.
bought aluminum extensions for my paddle shifters [v6 with 6R80]. wear them out. they keep me engaged on long drives under cruise control. the terrain is always rising and falling, i shift down to keep the vacuum gage above 10 psi on climbs and back to 6th gear as soon as the needle falls ccw...
The writer is pro camaro, nothing wrong that. I am pro mustang. He could have pointed out that mustang
saw a sales gain in the first quarter of 2020. over 2019. But naw!
From the beginning, April 1964 NY Worlds Fair and 007 movie Goldfinger, Mustang is the innovator,
Camaro is the imitator. Camaro historically lays on more power, more wheel size, more wheel base,
more body and calls it better. To some it may be for those reasons. The market has always favored...
Ford keeps focused on Mustang. For 2020/21 they have GT500,
Mach 1, rpm matching transmission, magnetic ride control shocks,
torque and horsepower upticks.
Does Chevy have the same commitment to the Camaro?
If Camaro drops, for me it will be like 2002. No big deal. And I think
it will be like...
You baited me in to looking at the camaro6 Q1 sales thread. 300 posts from the same nine guys that must have nothing else to do. After reading a hundred of them I know less than before. It seems to be an extensive conversation dedicated to ignoring the elephant in the room. The Camaro sucks.
The Q1 sales for me are truly a surprise. It represents about eight weeks of business. Give credit to Ford, Dave Perciak, and the Mustang team for successful management of the model. Coming out of the building recession, if Ford builds in a V6 option and or has focus on the mid-power pony market...
