Maybe he was driving a 5th gen and just though he was driving a 6th gen. You know.. because they look exactly the same and no one can tell the difference......
The only reason I think it will have it before a major refresh is because of the way GM put the A8 in the Corvette. There were plenty of A6's laying around too. It will be cool to see what happens.
I think the GS didn't get a new motor because GM is about to transform the Corvette to the C8. The Camaro just came out and has a bit more street time left in it. When the new Vette comes out it will then have the new GM motor. This is all speculation on my part. No I don't have secret all...
I highly doubt they would share one but that would be pretty interesting. I have a feeling the corvette brand as a whole will be totally different than it currently is.
Gm did a fantastic job with those wheels on the ZL1. I can't wait to see them in person!
