In Track Mode, TC is still enabled but at a higher threshold. Toggle the TC switch once and TC is disabled. Found that out by driving on a wet skid pad this weekend and the TC would kick in rather abruptly even in track mode. :cwl:
The Mach 1 that I ordered way back on Nov 1, 2021 is available at Granger for MSRP. Chassis N3774.
Due to a change in circumstances, I decided to keep my 2021 Mach 1 and decline the 2022. Both cars are optioned identically; FJG, 700A, 10A, Magnetic painted wheels, Elite, Nav.
I'm only designated a novice with BMW club. Took it in stride the first couple events, figured it was normal until they see how you drive. However, during the previous BMW event, a 1st time on track M3 owner spun, he was then moved up to intermediate the next day. He was giving point bys all day...
It was my 5th event with BMW, 14th event overall. When told I was staying in their novice group so instructors could get a discount is when I said WTF.
That is exactly what I experienced. He was having me drive a line that made sense to him, but was far different than what the other drivers were doing. I ended up with an impressive amount of other people's rubber on my tires; three friends I was with had next to none.
No video. This was the 5th HPDE event with them and I was getting multiple point bys from other drivers in the novice group. The instructor also let slip that instructors get a trackday discount and they need to keep enough people in the lower run groups so the instructors will keep getting the...
Here is the feedback I got from a recent BMW HPDE event with my Mach 1. My initial thought was to tell them to go f_themselves. Last 3 laps the "instructor" didn't say a word; I asked for input, he said your driving is perfect. Guess I don't have a German car. Oh yeah, the "instructor" insisted...
To make it even better for something you cannot unsee.. pic on the right... tail lights are eyes, drop down trunk lid is a smiley, and the logo is a nose. Creepy smiley face... 😊
Like a bunch of other folks on here, I got moved from a build week of 9/26 to a blend date of 9/1 and window sticker. There's light at the end of the tunnel.
At a Cars and Coffee this weekend, asked by a 2021 GT 500 owner "What's a Mach 1 package? Is it like a California Special?" The guy said he also has a GT350, never tracked either car, never went to the Track Attack, only takes them to car shows.
Rewind 11 years, Ford lets the internet name the Mustang V6 Performance Package... winner was "Mayhem Mustang Package". Yeah, that didn't last long, even the order guides and other Ford documentation called it V6 Performance Package.
Will be the same with "Nite Pony", kids will call it that...
Got the same email, and just so happens I have the same build as yours, ordered 11/1/21. So looks like it will be at least a year from build to delivery. The 2021 that I purchased, with the same exact options, looks like a very wise decision indeed. :sunglasses:
And I have seen very, very few...
Your issue with your knees is the exact reason why I requested an A10 Mach 1 for the Track Attack and did not go for a 2 day session. Manual transmissions are so much fun, but when they also cause so much pain, mainly due to poor choices when much younger and invicible, manuals are not a...
