  1. 2019 gt maintenance question

There are only a few oils that meets fords spec for the 2018+. I like the penzoil but it apparently has too much calcium to meet the LSPI spec that ford has for the 2018+.

  3. GT performance package

if you look at the cost of the brakes plus torsen it pretty much covers the cost of the PP. you are also getting wheels, much better tires, a bunch of other goodies. I can understand someone not wanting it but arguing that it’s a bad deal is crazy.
  4. GT performance package

pp1 gives you bigger staggered tires, Torsen diff, brembo brakes, k brace, strut tower brace, stiffer suspension tuning, less aggressive abs and traction control, additional cooling, some cosmetic changes in interior and the middle gauges. Magnaride is also an option but pp1 cars with magnaride...
  5. Engine quieter after Amsoil change?

I just changed my factory oil out at 2000 miles and used Amsoil signature and their filter. Seems like the engine is quieter? Is that my imagination or is it real?
  6. GT PP suspension too springy- hurts neck

You are correct. I am only a suspension novice but from what I could tell the rear shocks just don't have the dampening to deal with the PP springs.
  7. Lowering springs questions

Both ride and handling are better. Small bumps not nearly as noticeable and the porpoise oscillation it use to do is gone. Launches are better as well as it seems to just settle and go vs before the rear had some wiggle in it when you got on it hard. My wife rides mine all the time and she does...

  13. Lowering springs questions

No weird noises other than the engine. If you hit a large bump you will hear a thump but it sounds like a normal sound to me. I have no complaints and glad I did it. The performance pack non magneride suspension is garbage and ford should be embarrassed. I will get a picture later. Been raining...
  14. Lowering springs questions

I did the spacers in both the front and back. The drop was about 5/8 in front and about 1/2 in back after kit. I also did the camber plates with the progressives and the actives. No regrets at all. Both ride quality and handling improved. Most of the issues I have seen people report are from...
  15. GT PP suspension too springy- hurts neck

Rears are easy if you are just doing the shocks also.
  16. GT PP suspension too springy- hurts neck

The ford performance springs are slightly stiffer than the PP springs and with no change in shock it will be even worse.
  17. GT PP suspension too springy- hurts neck

I was kind of in the same situation but I decided to go ahead and do the springs also. If you look at how the Magnaride systems work and why they ride better its a combo of the springs and the shocks. The springs are softer because you can rely on the dampers to do more of the work. I think just...
  18. MagneRide vs PP1 Ride ?

True :). If you have to live with an auto the 10 speed is pretty good.
  19. MagneRide vs PP1 Ride ?

There are a few in Texas I found with 6mt. I wanted A10.
  20. MagneRide vs PP1 Ride ?

I dont see one I would want. I wanted 401a,A10,PP1 +magna, safe and smart, B&O, and active exahust.
