They are starting to hit the dealerships around the bay area and the surrounding area. In the last couple of months I've seen 5 at different dealerships. I would like to know what dealer got $40-50k over and the specs on the car. The dealers I've talked to haven't got that much for them.

Some dealers are saying if I buy a Shelby out of state and try to bring it into California DMV won't let me register it. They say it has to have 7,500 miles on it before I can register it. Any information from someone who has dealt with this would be appreciated.

That's what I thought, didn't want to argue with the sales manager. This is the first one I've seen in the bay area and when I told him I was working with a dealer out of state he said it probably is not California legal. He had his marked up 29,999 over MSRP and I guess that is his sales pitch.

I have a deposit on a GT 350 and I'm paying a small ADM, I'm ok with it because the car will be ordered just how I want it. I got my 2012 Boss 302 at $500 under MSRP, my 50th anniversary L.E. at MSRP. I took my C.O. Boss 302 with 8,658 miles by CarMax today and they offered me $29,000.

I'm thinking about going with the base because I won't be tracking the car, so I don't need the track package. I don't need the tech package, my 50th Anniversary L.E. has all the bells and whistles. Looks like the base will work.

Was that on display yesterday? I haven't seen one in person, I might have to take a run down there today.
