I sat in both (I own a 400a) and there sure doesn't seem to be a difference in the leather heated/cooled seats of 400a and 401a. Where does Ford state 401a has better leather? I only see that as far as interior leather goes 401a has a padded and stitched center console while 400a does not.
For the Coyote 5.0 it's a high compression engine, for the EcoBoost it's a Turbo, Ford has calibrations that keep knock down so you don't hear it because the knock sensors/computer pull back timing hence performance to keep things safe and no knock, that doesn't mean it hasn't occurred however...
I've given rides to quite a few European car owners and they were shocked at how well appointed the interior is, how quiet it is, no rattles and in drag mode their faces really lit up! Most said the car felt very fast, well of course, drag mode slams the shifts big time! :)
I like RR, he is arrogant, that's true but he still started the business that caught the attention of TV, they don't just give anybody a TV show. I like the content even though once in a while I'd like to slap the guy, still I keep watching so he is doing something right.
Opinions are like aholes, everybody has one, thankfully nobody except the buyer gets to determine what a Mustang is or isn't. If somebody buys a 4cyl Mustang and loves it, more power to him or her, it's not up to me to tell others what makes a car special, why do you give AF what makes a Mustang...
Every previous Mustang I have owned except my 1997 GT (which was disgustingly slow and not worth modding to make it as fast as my previous Mustang's were stock) have been modified. My last Mustang was a 2006 GT 6spd stick that I supercharged. I'm hoping to twin turbo my '18 but visually she is...
Only 55 here, I've owned quite a few Mustang's in my life, my first one was a special order 1985 5.0 LX Coupe, they were a check box order until 1986. Since then I've owned multiple examples for each decade since. My wife has had a few as well.
My current one is a 2018 GT, 400a, 10r80, 3.55's...
Mine does the same thing, for 2 decades she didn't because she would get sick reading or looking at a phone, now suddenly she stares at that damn phone like every other zombie, can't get her to stop, sick or not.
I'm on the fence regarding the pony on the front, if the rendering is close I'd be in to lease one, see how it works out and then buy the newest version after the lease runs out.
I couldn't remember the number, I do remember it being weak sauce, I had a 1972 Mark IV coupe that smoked the GT and Camaro, it was laughable. Heck, I have a 12 second Lincoln today, life is good!
Ford, Chevy, Mercedes, BMW, Bentley, they all have them. My fathers Lexus had the worst rattles of any car I have ever rode in, my '69 SS 396 Chevelle had less rattles. I once rode in a guys Bentley and the guy stated how quiet it was, I asked him if he heard the rattle and he said "no, I have...
