  1. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

Imagine what a 6 litre 4" bore Coyote would do to the whole x vs y question, chevy would have to install aluminum 502's to keep up.
  2. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

Dont agree. People been bitching about modular bore spacing since it came out. Another 1/4" and there would be no argument about what engine is superior. And there are at least a few engineers lurking here.
  3. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

I don't believe its a dry decked block so some mixing is occurring so I would guess that's not the case here, also if better wouldn't the corvette use it?
  4. GT350 vs. Z/28

I got a feeling Fords going to knock this one out of the park. Modifying my own Boss and keeping up with what others have done with them, I think 550hp is within regulated reach, hell older NA CJ's can do it, just got to meet emissions. That means a good chance of a healthy bump for GT's in a...
  5. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

Hey, its obvious you have a background in this, and you are knowledgeable on the subject, I do see where your going, I'm just not seeing how you justify it economically, where I'm at, and what I do, I would have a hard time with such as requirement.
  6. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

Point taken, but if air flow around the vehicle is now where they are scratching for gains, and to the point of requiring 3 radiators in a 35Kish car, we should see more of it, since everyone is dealing with it. Is the Camaro an aerodynamic wonder? I doubt it. The boundary conditions force all...
  7. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

Now you're being silly, 3 were needed because 1 was not enough, simple. Maybe 3 are not enough. If we all had one leg, 2 pedals don't make sense, unless we are missing different legs and you want a one bike fits all. I'm not going to concede that 3 radiators on a 35ishK car is engineering...
  8. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

Yes, if I only had one leg, but alas I have 2......
  9. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

Ahh, form over function, I never was a show car guy. It boils down to not enough grill, pretty simple to me.
  10. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

You have a point, but not on radiators, as redundancy is out the window since its a single point failure since they are all connected together.
  11. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

I am a ME too....not on auto's however, and yes, less is better..... if it works!
  12. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

Dual exhausts are the norm and the easiest way to move the required volume, how many cars are running around with 3 radiators for engine cooling, not counting oil and transmission? Not many if any, and there is a sound reason for that. And if your exhaust fall off, your engine doesn't fry.
  13. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

I think the point is that 1 radiator is a more elegant, cheaper, less prone to failure engineering solution.
  14. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

You're missing the point of the argument, it was an engineering better/worse discussion, the odds are low, maybe, they will fail, but you've got more hoses, more mounting points, and less room now to fit it all. Everything matters when we are arguing about these cars. There was also a point made...
  15. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

You argued that 3 radiators could be better than one, so tell me, which car will have a higher chance of mechanical failure, and which car will cost more to manufacture? And do you think they added 2 more because the physics make it work better that way, or they had to so as to get enough area...
  16. GT350 Mustang test drive / impressions / info

I interpret it to mean redline in first and second, and partly in third....hey its the internet, who knows. I think 550 is possible, but stretching, but a lighter crank, better flow, more cubes, 750 more rpms than the Boss, a few more years of engineering...my Boss responded very well to...
  17. GT350 Mustang test drive / impressions / info

That sounds fantastic...I hope this is real!
  18. GT350 Spied Testing

OKAY, I changed my mind, I think they must be working on it, all those sounded great.
  19. GT350 Spied Testing

Well there ya go, that one sounded great down low!
