You have a point, but not on radiators, as redundancy is out the window since its a single point failure since they are all connected together.

Dual exhausts are the norm and the easiest way to move the required volume, how many cars are running around with 3 radiators for engine cooling, not counting oil and transmission? Not many if any, and there is a sound reason for that. And if your exhaust fall off, your engine doesn't fry.

I think the point is that 1 radiator is a more elegant, cheaper, less prone to failure engineering solution.

You're missing the point of the argument, it was an engineering better/worse discussion, the odds are low, maybe, they will fail, but you've got more hoses, more mounting points, and less room now to fit it all. Everything matters when we are arguing about these cars. There was also a point made...

You argued that 3 radiators could be better than one, so tell me, which car will have a higher chance of mechanical failure, and which car will cost more to manufacture? And do you think they added 2 more because the physics make it work better that way, or they had to so as to get enough area...

I interpret it to mean redline in first and second, and partly in third....hey its the internet, who knows. I think 550 is possible, but stretching, but a lighter crank, better flow, more cubes, 750 more rpms than the Boss, a few more years of engineering...my Boss responded very well to...
